Yoice is serpent like creature that has a long head and a snake/lizard like body. It's head is long with Blue, Green and Navy stripes. In the top Blue center there is a Diamond that powers the Pokémon's 'Snow Mist'. Along it's head, arms and body is a sequence of small holes, these holes emit a Snow-Like-Mist that covers and protects the Pokémon's fragile body. It has spikes on it's neck, shoulders, arms and back. It's claws are made of solid Ice.
Legend says it fought with Flawie over control of the weather, both drawing in the battle the seasons split into Hot and Cold.

Yoice are based on the Yowie a mythological creature in Australian Folklore. The creature is often described as a Humanoid-Ape like creature but is sometimes portrayed as a Snake-Lizard like creature. According to Folklore it comes out at night and eats anything it can find - including Humans.

Yoice comes from the words Yowie and Ice, it may also be a corruption on Voice referring to it's loud screech.
