Camiko is the first party member players encounter in World of Animals, and serves as the speedy, cat rogue.

Bio[]

Camiko is first found in the Buhemons' house, serving as one of other servants blackmailed into serving them. At the start, he refrains from telling Simone about their past, and instead tries to learn more about them. Soon after the events of the first chapter, Simone and Camiko are allowed out of the mansion and into the town of Rusal, where, after taking some goods from the mansion, they decided to spend a night at the town's inn before setting out to the small town of Shuruo, for he has family there he wishes to meet up with.

However, his plans get halted when a dangerous beast lingers near a major city near Shuruo, which is forcing the residents of the nearby city to be evacuated, them ending up in Rusal. The local church is allowing the refugees to stay, so he decides to hang out near the church in order to hopefully find his family.

Character Description[]

Camiko is a black cat with vibrant, yellow eyes, and a thin set of claws, though they're hidden under fine white gloves. However, a bit of his black fur has greyed at the tips with time. He's also about 3'9". His default outfit has him wearing a fancy tuxedo, with black pants, a black coat, a white, button-up shirt underneath it, black shoes with black socks, and an indigo bowtie. His thin tail peeks out between his pants and his coat. He also wears a monocle over his left eye.

  • As a Thief - In turn-based battles, he stands upright with his right arm stretched before him, him holding his hand up towards his face while wriggling his fingers contemplatively. A close look can reveal the handle of a knife peeking just out of the sleeve and into his palm. He stands rigid and at attention while watching his hand, feigning contemplation. When he performs a normal attack, he instead brings his lift arm up into a similar pose as his right one, which goes down to his side, a slight flick having his knife slide out and into view, before he suddenly slashes across the enemy. A critical hit has him appear before an enemy, before suddenly vanishing from view, before the enemy's struck with a painful slash from behind, Camiko then reappearing in front of the enemy. When casting damaging spells, Camiko brings up his left hand so he can adjust the glove there, before he suddenly whips his left palm forwards, sending his spell.
  • As a Master Thief - In turn-based battles, he stands upright, holding his bow downwards and across his legs while he wears a black, skin-tight outfit with indigo highlights, him looking ahead with determination. When he performs a normal attack, he aims and draws his bow, before firing an arrow. A critical hit has him hold his bow perpendicular to his body while loading multiple arrows, before firing. A Slash skill has him take an arrow in his hand, before driving forwards and swiping the arrow to the side as if it were a dagger. When casting damaging spells, he holds his bow to his hip while bringing up his hand, and sending forth the spell.
  • As an Assassin - In turn-based battles, he has a low stance, putting his weight on his right leg while keeping his left stretched behind him. He wears a black, skin-tight outfit with indigo highlights, dangerous-looking claws over his gloves, one arm stretched behind him while the other is hovering his claw in front of his face. Normal attacks has him race forwards, before swiping his left arm across the enemy. Critical hits has him bring both arms down and charge forwards, before slashing leftwards, rightwards, and then performing a claw-first uppercut. When casting damaging spells, he holds both arms outwards, before thrusting them forwards to send forth the spell.

Gameplay Stats[]

Thief[]

Camiko wields a knife, his normal attacks dealing slashing damage. He starts out learning wind spells and few slashing spells, and obtains Speed Buffing techniques. He's geared around boosting evasion and accuracy, and early on he tends to deal more critical hits than other early party members. Unfortunately, he has a low health pool and low defenses.

Master Thief[]

Camiko wields a bow, his normal attacks dealing Stabbing damage. He garners a bit more wind magic, but also garners high-level dark magic as well as access to blindness ailments, so as to make it harder for foes to attack allies. Additionally, he helps provides allies evasion to make them harder to hit. Be weary of his relatively low damage output.

Social Link Events[]

  1. The first event occurs after Camiko and Simone first step into the sewers beneath the Buhemon house. The two have defeated their first encounter, and are pretty much officially a team now. With them having utilized their weapons together, they have essentially become brothers/brother and sister in arms.
  2. The next event can only on/after Abris 21st, due to the events prior to this occurring in the Buhemon house, or being moved through by story events. During this, Camiko takes Simone out for tea. He decides to ask Simone a bit about himself, which they do. Camiko mulls over the new information. He remarks that Simone likes the high life and had hoped to stick to it for the duration of his life, but a new face came and took his job.
Camiko remarks that he honestly reminds him of a few guards he dealt with back in the old days. Simone can then ask "What do you mean?" or "You lost to some butlers." To the latter, Camiko remarks that there are different factors behind him and the Buhemons. Either way, the conversation leads back into the "What do you mean?" branch as he explains.
He's kind of a professional thief. Or at least he was. He's not really the same young guy he was before the Buhemons. However, he does say that he probably shouldn't divulge too much out here. He's not sure how well known his thief name is, but he should stay safe.
Simone can either ask "Why're you trusting me with this?" or "You're not seeming so careful with me." Either way, Camiko says that the two of them served a common goal and were together for a long time. Besides, they've kind of already decided they'd be traveling a little longer after this, so they may as well get comfortable together. With that, Camiko stands and says that tea's about over. Now's a good time to go back.
  3. With this, the two are holed up inside the room they share at the church. Camiko briefly ponders where they left off, before recognizing that they were about to go over his thieving past. He says that he's no ordinary thief, though curtly apologizes if he's already said that. He says that he grew up in Shuruo all his life, and says he always enjoyed the more quaint side of life. No big cities, clean air, a place that reslly feels like home.
However, one day some nobles with too much money showed up and wanted to buy out the village so they could make room for some vacation spot of their own. Apparently the kind atmosphere of the village was not lost on even the wealthy. They would've had his neighbors driven out of Shuruo, and would've left finding new residence to them and them alones.
The town didn't wish to let this happen, but everyone new their mayor was tempted more and more by the money. Many feared they'd be unable to do anything, so they stood back and prayed. Him, however... He'd read a few tales when he was younger, and became invested in the tales of the thieves therein.
He chose to don the image of a thief, and snuck after the buyers. Through some luck and some reflexes, he was able to slip into their coffers and snatch up tons of goods. He brought it back to the village, and with the money, the mayor was able to put an end to negotiations and see them out. With that story finished, Simone can either say "That is something!" or "That was dangerous!"
To the former, Camiko admits that as much good as it'd done, it was somewhat careless. To the latter, he admits that it could've gone completely differently. If he had been caught, he'd be lucky to only be imprisoned. But at the time he was young and dumb and loved the feeling of having done that. He became hungry for more of that business, so he decided to invest more into the field of thievery.
He never admitted to anyone else what he'd done, but if he hadn't set up a Robin' business, odds are he'd have spouted out his dirty little secret for some kind of rush. He admits, he probably should've sat back and let what'd happen happen, else he might not've ended up in the Buhemon's house. Simone can then ask "And not here?" or "Then what of Shuruo?"
To the former, he says that nothing is worth being away from his family for so long. To the latter, Camiko pauses, clearly unable to come to an answer. Either way, he says that thieving led him down a dark road, and he probably would've been left there if it weren't for Simone. He admits that he's not going to stay in Rusal long. Once he and his family can make for greener pastures, he's taking it.
Simone then appears to ask what this Robin' business is, at which Camiko remarks that he's done a little too much reflecting now. He needs to get some fresh air for a little while. He says that they can continue later, before abruptly ending their talk.
  4. The two are in the fields out in front of the church. Simone will comment on the weather, which'll vary depending on what the weather is. Simone can then either say "We were talking about Robin'" or "We can talk about the weather later". Either way, Camiko admits that he supposes he's stalled long enough. He says that there were quite a few people that wanted to see justice done. Apparently other buyers thought a few nearby multi-gold-wielders had gotten their gold through foul means. Back then, he had the drive to do some justice some more, so he decided to set up what can best be called a small business.
He'd put out an anonymous message for those in need, they'd reach out to him in secret, he'd research the targets, and go on to deal with those jerks. It might've been a moment of excitement for him, but he'd sort of grown into a sort of legend. And during that time, well, he'd garner a wife, Mydine. After spending wonderous night after wonderous night with her, his business would get slower and slower, and part of him figured he shouldn't leave those rich jerks free to do what they wanted. So, he began to send out messages for an apprentice. And, while he waited for word, he'd keep treasure his time with Mydine.
During the process of making the message, Mydine would give birth to a beautiful boy that he'd name Reeri. Mydine swiftly figured Miko might be nicer. So, he got a son named Miko, a beautiful wife, and the best little home in the best little part of the country. As he speaks, his smile seems to bear some sorrow behind it. Simone can then say "You'll find them" or "I haven't seen you like this". Camiko admits that as he spoke of them, he felt a bit nostalgic. He has no idea what they must've been thinking after he disappeared. If he just didn't pick up one little traitor right before the Buhemon mission... Camiko gets up and decides he needs to spend some time alone. So, he begins to walk. Simone, however, seems curious.
He walks towards Brusis, and decides to ask her about if their names are on the staff list. Brusis assures him that by now, the two of them are. Someone'd have to look through the pamphlets or bulletin board, and then they'd find out who's here. Simone strokes his chin, seeming to figure that surely they would've figured Camiko was among the staff by now...
  5. This event is only accessible after Augua 2, as in, after the events of the Hybrid fight took place. Here, Camiko seems excited. He looks over Simone and says that they simply must visit now. There's no telling whether everyone will be in place, but Shuruo is simply the kind of place to die for. He feels that he's been teasing its appearance for long enough, and that he must sate Simone's curiosity. There, Simone can either say "Woah, there, nelly" or "Well what are we waiting for?" To the former, Camiko clears his throat and apologizes for being so forceful, before walking at a calm pace towards the carriage. To the latter, Camiko shares in Simone's enthusiasm, before rushing to the carriage.
After that, there's a quick scene of the carriage, drawn by a strong and quick horse, off into the distance, before eventually arriving at a very cozy settlement. It seems about 1/3 Rusal's size, though seems to harbor a multitude of humble houses. The skyline is bright and blue with pretty clouds, the houses seem to be of various pearly shades, the town is surrounded with grassy lands, and the trails through the town appears to be various worn-down dirt trails. A thin river is also seen going through it, though a few stone-brick bridges are seen built over them. This is Shuruo.
Camiko steps in, and takes a deep breath once within. He sighs happily, saying that he hasn't smelled air this clean in ages. He says that he can bring Simone on a tour around the place, maybe he can show off his home. He's actually seen grabbing the mink by the hand and drag him deeper into town. As he walks, he remarks at how quiet this poor place is. Though, he supposed he should've expected that. Still, it's nice to check the place out in its lonesome, right? Though, he does miss his neighbors.
At that, he remarks that he's been away so long, he hadn't even considered how things might've changed here. In a moment, he starts worrying that things won't be the same when he gets back. Simone can either say "That's not something to be scared of" or "You've kind of changed too". Camiko supposes that may be true. Eventually, he reaches a hill, where he can see a house surrounded by fencing. There, he says that that's his house, where he stayed with his wife and child.
He turns, and tells Simone he can't wait for him to meet them. The cat looks over his home, and Simone can't help but think back to the weird detail he noticed after he hung out with Camiko beforehand. He doesn't feel like bringing it up, least of all in here.
  6. Once more, the duo's able to visit Shuruo. Now, it's more filled. Camiko seems excited, and brings Simone towards the house again. As he approaches, someone nearby speaks up. The two turn and find an elderly fox stepping towards them. He seems to recognize Camiko, and asks if that's him. Camiko answers, before realizing that this is Dubei! He approaches happily and shakes the elder's hand. He introduces him to Simone, saying that he's been his next door neighbor ever since he started his family. Dubei seems amazed, before saying that he was sure he'd seen the last of Camiko until news about him started spreading about the world.
At this, Simone can either say "What do you mean?" or "The last of?" Camiko turns back and asks for clarification. Dubei says that when Camiko left the village all those years ago, word spread of his thieving background, and said that he'd died out on a mission. Camiko assures that that part of his life is far behind him, and simply wishes to be with his family right now. And at that, Dubei seems uncomfortable, before asking him if he knows... The duo turn towards him confused, before he continues. He explains that Mydine had passed away in her age and Miko's not here.
Camiko seems alarmed. His former excitement almost immediately melts and he seems floored, as if he were struck by a powerful blow from an enemy. Dubei says that Mydine passed away peacefully if it's any consolation, earlier this year. Camiko seems too stunned to talk, so it's up to Simone to say "And his son...?" or "Where's Miko?" At that, Dubei says that the boy had aspirations far greater than the village, wanted to be a heroic type. So, he decided to join the military. A year ago, he'd been accepted and took off towards one of the camps. Camiko still seems downtrodden, when Dubei says that he's sorry he had to find out like this. Camiko turns towards his house longingly. He says that he should've been with her and him before... He strokes his mailbox longingly, before the elder fox steps away. Eventually, though, Camiko takes notice of the mailbox itself, specifically at how the fin of it is up, indicating a delivery.
Curious, he opens it up and looks at the contents, finding a bunch of letters... bearing Miko's name. He cuts one open before looking into it, seeing a letter initiated with "Dear Dad,". He looks over it and begins to smile, tears coming down his cheeks. There are a lot of letters in the mailbox. He looks over the lot of them, and finds more letters made by his son. He can't even seem to find himself able to speak, merely crying as he looks over each envelope. Then, wordlessly, he begins to step away from his former house, Simone following close behind.
  7. Here, the duo are back in one of the rooms in the church. There, Camiko's laid out a bunch of the envelopes he's collected. He says that he hasn't been there, but somehow, his son's chosen to leave behind messages for him despite being such an awful father. Simone can either say "That's great!" or "Isn't that fishy?" Regardless of the answer, Camiko seems too invested in checking out his letters. He snips one open to look over the contents, explaining how he's been learning the way of the blade and shield. Camiko's certain that it would've been nice for him to meet Simone around now. He remarks that he should be 20 around now.
Camiko keeps reading over the letters, still tearful. He keeps on reading and remarks that he's been in that house for far too long. He doesn't deserve such kindness for his transgressions. He looks over another letter, before reading "I would've never gotten here without your support". Simone seems to take issue with that line, an can say "That's nice" or "You just learned he's in the military". To the former, Camiko affirms the response and nods, still sighing affectionately. To the latter, his image falters a little, before saying that Simone probably has it wrong, he probably means in general... Either way, he says that he hasn't felt such peace in so long.
Camiko looks towards Simone and thanks him for bringing him to this moment in time. If it wasn't for him, he would've never found his son's love. He even sets down the letters to go over and hug Simone, who's still suspicious about the situation. Camiko then says that he can't wait for all of this to be over so he can finally go and see Miko.
  8. With this, Camiko and Simone are each on a trolley heading out to Shuruo. They arrive, and Camiko immediately heads over to his house, Simone following close behind. Camiko wonders if there are more letters. It sounds like Miko's been making some great progress in his field of work, and he can't wait to read more about it. Simone can then say "Neither can I?" or "Have you tried writing him?" To the latter, Camiko says that he's not sure, he's been absent for so much of that guy's life, he should consider himself lucky to be able to read these letters.
Eventually they arrive just in time to see a mailman dropping off some letters. And when he walks away, Camiko approaches the mailbox to open it. However, when he does, the mailman swivels around and talks him down, saying that taking other people's mail is a crime. Camiko swears to him that it's ok, these are from his son, Miko. They're addressed to him, the father. The mailman tells him that each letter's been addressed to the owner of the house! Camiko pauses for a bit, before repeating that phrase, "owner of the house" in confusion. The mailman seems confused about Camiko's confusion and says that some guy's lived here happily married for 13 years.
Camiko shrinks away and horror crosses his face at specifically those words. He slowly asks who lives here, to which the mailman says that some guy named Zeebel. After the old man of the house was said to've died out in the field, the lady of the house and her son were in deep hysterics, though that man stayed by them, calmed them, and eventually married. Throughout the story, Camiko begins looking down, pupils pinprick thin as he begins shaking in horror. The mailman seems surprised by his reaction, though walks off.
Simone turns towards Camiko and can say "Camiko...?" or "I'm sorry". Camiko then speaks in a whisper, saying that he called that traitor "Father"... He had such precious memories with him... The group returns to the church and to Camiko's room, where he takes up the many letters he'd read in comfort. He huffs and seems to get red in the face, before taking up his knife and slashing through each letter, rendering them mere ribbons. Alarmed by the reaction, Simone decides to step away and leave him alone.
  9. Simone finds Camiko and sees him wringing his hands together, a sour expression on his face. He looks up at Simone and says that he needs one more thing out of them. He's dragged them along for much of his busywork, but he must ask one last thing. Simone can then say "I'm available" or "Oh, sure thing". Camiko nods in approval, though maintains the same expression. The trolley brings them to Shuruo, where he approaches his old house. He tells Simone to speak up if anybody approaches. Simone seems concerned, though looks out towards the road.
Camiko picks the lock to his house, before opening it up. He waves Simone towards him, and they enter. Once inside, they find the house pretty small, though very humble. Hardwood floors with a non-fancy rug right at the door, the occasional table with various trinkets and portraits on them, it didn't look too remarkable. The two keep walking and walking, approaching a living room. Once there, they see a few soft-looking chairs, another table with old trinkets, and a portrait, brandishing Camiko's wife, his son, and the smiling face of a red, striped cat next to each of them. Looking at him, Camiko snarls.
Then, they hear an elder voice speak up. Said elder asks who's here, is it young Miko? Camiko turns towards the source, and can see the passage to the other hallway, opposite the way they entered. There, they see Miko himself, though awfully old and wearing teal robes, supporting himself on a cane. He takes some steps forwards and looks towards the duo, clearly struggling to see him. He asks who they are and keeps walking forwards, when Camiko walks towards him.
Once he's close, he snatches the cane out from under him, before smashing the cat across the jaw with the end. Simone's startled by the attack, and the old man's grasping his face, grunting and heaving from the blow. Camiko grabs him by the shoulder, before ramming him onto one of the nearby tables, and sweeping him across, causing him to take the trinkets with him as he smashes down onto the ground opposite the table. Camiko steps over to his prone form, before kicking him harshly several times in the abdomen, the old man heaving and sputtering at each hit, begging him to know what he did wrong. With each and every hit, Camiko's scowl deepens and he hits harder and harder.
The elder's laying there, panting and heaving, and Camiko's stopped kicking him, Simone still clearly shaken. Camiko's panting and panting, and looks down at the elder's prone form with nothing but contempt. And then, he flicks his arm out to unveil his dagger, before flipping it into a reverse grip. He then begins hoisting his arm overhead as he hatefully glares down at the fallen man, still heaving from the attack. And then, the time seems to freeze as players are told that "This is a life-changing decision. Choose your ally's fate". They're presented two options: "Let him" - at which Camiko can grow into an assassin, who favors high damage and evasion, while having skills meant to subvert defense. "Stop him" - at which Camiko can grow into a master thief, who excels at debuffing and helps keep allies alive with disorienting skills.
-Let him - Simone can't bring himself to step in. Instead, Camiko drops to his knees and rams his knife into the old man, teeth brandished the whole time. He lifts and stabs, lifts and stabs, lifts and stabs, the elder screaming out at each hit and trying desperately to crawl away. But Camiko's more than able to make up for whatever movement the elder attempts, able to instead stab him. The old man can't move anymore, but Camiko keeps stabbing and stabbing, until he's too tired to make such grand motions. Eventually, he's left panting and heaving, before he finally climbs up to his feet and pulls his knife out of the man's body. He looks over and pants, before looking towards Simone wordlessly, his expression back to the beginning of the day, before he begins heading towards the front door.
-Stop him - Simone shakes off his worry and lunges forwards, wrapping his arms around him such that he pins his arm in place. He pulls Camiko away from the elder before he can try anything, and the cat writhes in his grip. Camiko glares back at Simone hatefully, before seeing the sheer horror in the mink's eyes. At that, his breathing starts to get slower and deeper, and his own expression begins to drop. Simone can feels Camiko get limper and limper in his grip, before they carefully unwrap from their friend, who drops to his knees. Simone walks towards the pained old man, before carefully picking him up and bringing him to a chair to sit down, and feeding him a potion. The elder seems still mortified, though clutches his can protectively and tries to hide in the chair. At this, Simone takes up Camiko, before walking the two of them out of the house.
Once out, the duo are back in the trolley, Camiko looking very downtrodden and seeming transfixed with the floor of the trolley. The vehicle begins moving, and there's just silence. Camiko begins sniffling a little as his expression finally gives away to sorrow. Tears are beginning to fall, he's hiccupping, and he's clenching his hands harder and harder. Players can either "Leave him be", "Lend a shoulder", or "Hold him". Simone scoots slightly away for the former, leans down and lets Camiko lean against his shoulder for the middle, and wraps their arms around Camiko for the latter. Either way, Camiko isn't able to hold it in anymore, and wails loudly, letting loose what must be years-worth of pent up tears.
  10. Rank 10 is different depending on the Life Changing choice at 9.
  • Assassin Route - This takes place if players let Camiko kill the elder. Camiko still seems overwhelmed from the last encounter, and really down in the dumps. Simone can approach, and the cat sees them. Camiko turns away and asks if Simone's really willing to hang out with him after that back there. Simone gives pause, though can say "I understand why you did it" or "You've been hurting". Hearing the mink say that, Camiko sighs and turns away. And then, Brusis appears to them and says that someone's looking for Camiko out front.
The two approach the front, and soon see a short guy in thick armor. Camiko asks who they are, when the armored guy assures that it's him, all while calling Camiko "father". Camiko seems alarmed, and the soldier draws his helmet off to reveal himself, a seemingly younger version of Camiko, Miko. Miko steps forwards to try and embrace Camiko, though the older cat seems cold. He says that Miko's chosen his father a long time ago. Miko gives pause, before saying that he didn't know. He'd thought he was dead this whole time, if he'd known that old guy was a liar... Camiko brushes him off and says that he's lost his family a long time ago, they can't just take him back after kicking him out. Miko seems stunned and tries to speak more, and Camiko says that he'll be busy with work right now. Camiko walks away, and Miko, though reaching out towards him, sheds a few tears and walks away.
Simone can follow after Camiko, who himself still seems saddened, but shakes off the feeling. Simone approaches him, and asks "What now?" or "Do you need anything?" Camiko says he doesn't know. This whole time he'd hoped to find his family, but now... he wasn't lying about being business with church work, so for now, he'll have to contend with that. But later... Camiko turns towards Simone, and tells them that despite what he's learned, he must thank Simone for what they've done. He's been enslaved by his desire to refind his family, only to find that there was none to go back to. But now, with everything said and done, it's time to live his own life.
For now, he has to find out what that new life will be. In the meantime, he tells Simone that in exchange for everything they've done, Camiko will do everything in his power to serve Simone as responsibly as possible. Any foe, any obstacle, he will do what he can to make their path easier. Simone seems thankful for Camiko's devotion, before holding the cat's hand. Camiko swears his loyalty to them, a bond more powerful than any family. With this, the Social Link is finished, and Camiko is officially awarded with the title of Assassin.
  • Master Thief Route - This takes place if players stopped Camiko from eliminating the elder. Camiko appears to be better after the last encounter, though still feels uncomfortable. Especially whenever he's alone with Simone. The mink notices, and can't help but approach. Camiko asks them why they decided to stay by his side, even after what they saw. At that, Simone can say "I know you're not a bad guy" or "I know you're hurting also". To either, Camiko gives pause, before sighing, and thanking the mink for remaining with him.
As they're talking, Brusis arrives. She tells Camiko that someone's out front waiting for him. Camiko's curious about what she means, but goes forwards either way. They arrive at the front and see a short guy in thick armor. Camiko asks who they are, when the armored guy assures that it's him, while calling Camiko "father". Both Simone and Camiko seem surprised by the phrase, when the soldier brings his helm up and off, revealing a head strikingly similar to Camiko's, albeit younger. Camiko seems to shudder, before racing forwards to embrace Miko, who returns the hug just as suddenly.
He asks the cat what he's doing here now, to which Miko answers that he hadn't heard about Camiko being alive until recently. He sent a letter to Zeebel to try and ask what the meaning of this was, but he never answered back. And now that Sesuna's disolving the military, he has the chance to meet him one on one! Camiko hugs his son tighter and thanks him for being near to him at last, at long last.
As he does, his expression drops. He pulls away from Miko, and solemnly asks him to bring him to Mydine. With that, the group's quick to race to Shuruo, Miko leading the whole way. He brings his father and Simone closer, before bringing them into a graveyard in the village. They head towards one corner, before arriving at a headstone bearing his wife's name. He steps there, and looks around at the three.
He says that finally, his family's in one place again. He takes Miko's hand, before kneeling down to gently touch the headstone, Miko following suit. There, Camiko confesses that he's been a terrible husband, that he apologizes for leaving them when he had. He wished that he could tell her and Miko that he'd loved them with every breath. He looks back at Simone and tells Mydine that if it wasn't for them, then he wouldn't be here today. He says that he's thought this whole time of coming home, but he should've realized that he'd thrown it away a long time ago. He thanks Mydine for the life she provided him, giving a kiss to the headstone, before turning to Miko and thanking him for his life as well.
With that, he steps up and releases his grip, the soldier saying that Camiko can come back. There, Camiko says that at this point and time, he still has the church to think of. He'll wrap everything up, and then come back should he make the world a better place. He begins to walk away, though Miko stops him. He tells him that Zeebel left him with something before he left. He searches his satchel, before pulling out an antique bow. He presents it to his father, Camiko looking on in awe and a twinge of horror. He grasps the bow, and Miko says that Zeebel saw this bow and knew that this meant Camiko was...
Miko says that he'll keep the house warm for him. With that, the two hug, before parting. Camiko says that he'd expected to throw his old life away finally, but with this bow returned to him, that can only mean that fate itself is telling him that his old skills still have needs. He says that Simone's offered him more than he ever deserved, and thanks them for everything. He swears that, for as long as there are still duties for him and Simone's allies, he will serve to the full extent of his abilities, even if it means retreading his old mistakes. With that, Simone can say "I expect great things from you, Camiko" or "You've done plenty for me already". With this, the Social Link is finished, and Camiko is officially awarded with the title of Master Thief.
