Work Hard, Play Hard

Work Hard, Play Hard is the first "episode" in The Wacky Adventures of Mr. Eatsalot. This episode focuses on Eric Eatsalot finding a go-kart to help him win a race in Waftville Castle.

Plot

The episode starts off with Eatsalot, Waftor, Greenbull and Ball arguing over who gets to eat a giant chocolate cake. As the lot are arguing, the notice several creatures racing in Waftville Castle. Waftor then comes up with a plan that they will have a race in Waftville Castle, and whoever wins gets to eat the cake, but they must all bring their own go-karts.

Eatsalot is worried, as he does not have a go-kart. As he spends time looking for one, he is greeted by Lolly, who agrees to help him if he gives her a banana.

Eatsalot and Lolly come across a garage and find a kart shaped as a toilet. The manufacturer, Beak, agrees to give them the kart if they give him five green stars. After the two find five green stars, they are rewarded with the kart.

The two meet up with Waftor, Greenbull and Ball outside Waftville Castle. Eatsalot reveals his new kart and the four get ready to line up. However, Freshair suddenly appears and joins in the race as well. Four also appears to commentate.

In the end, Eatsalot wins the race and is given the chocolate cake. As he jumps for joy, however, he accidentally throws it into a muddy lake. Eatsalot jumps into the lake, attempting to get the cake back as everyone else (except Lolly and Ball) laugh.

Playthrough

Section 1

The player starts off in the centre of Waftville. They simply have to walk up to the town centre to trigger the next cutscene and section.

Section 2 (Time Challenge)

Once the player talks to Beak, eight green stars are generated into the world. The player needs to find five green stars in 3 minutes. The counter does not stop after finding the fifth green star either, as the player also has to make it back to Beak in the remaining time.

Section 3

The player has to return to Waftor, Greenbull and Ball, who are located at Waftville Castle.

Section 4 (Race)

The final section of the episode has the player having to beat Waftor, Greenbull, Ball and Freshair in a 3-lap race at Waftville Castle. The player must place 1st place in order to pass. Freshair will usually take the top spot, however, all the rivals are easy to beat.

• Four: "Hey! Stop ruining the fun!"

• Four: "What the weasels? We have a sudden competitor!"
• Waftor: "Freshair! What are you doing here?"
• Freshair: "Here to win some chocolate cake."
• Eatsalot: "Four! He can't race!"
• Four: "There isn't a rule that states that people can't show up at the last second before joining the race! He is allowed."
• Eatsalot: "No way! I won't believe that!"
• Greenbull: "Who cares? More racers the better! Put the green lights on already!"

• Lolly: "Don't worry, Eric! I bet you will win!"
• Eatsalot: "Lolly, don't jinx it!"
• Lolly: "Do it for me! If you are falling behind, just think about me."
• Eatsalot: "Hmmm... I may lose concentration if I do that, Lolly."
• Lolly: "How about after the race, I will give you two really big juicy watermelons?"
• Eatsalot: "Oh, I just remembered I have to give you a banana for helping me..."

Trivia

• The player can still collect the other three green stars after collecting the required five, but the player will receive no reward in doing so.
