Whimsicott is a Grass/Fairy (pure Grass initially) Pokémon introduced in Generation 5. It's the evolved form of Cottonee.

Basic info[]

Obviously based on a cotton ball, Whimsicott also has elements of tumbleweeds, the Vegetable Lamb of Tartary, and a creature called the "Saci". It's billed as a counterpart to Lilligant, if only because both Pokémon tend to be version exclusives who appear in the same spots; otherwise, Whimsicott has a 50-50 gender ratio and very little in common with her.
