When Worlds Collide is a Japanese-American cartoon/live-action television show centered around a teenager struggling to exist in a world where all dimensions exist simultaneously.
Episode Plot Summary
S1 E1: Pilot
The episode opens with Alan having a typical school day in Queens, New York City, being bullied as a "weeaboo" and a "nerd" by the majority of school ("Lonesome Loser" by Little River Band plays during this montage), except for one friend - Jake. Once he arrives at his home in the Queens suburbs in the afternoon, he wishes that life for him wasn't so boring before he goes to sleep that night...
When he wakes up the next day, he discovers that he has transformed into a Hanyo (more specifically, a wolf Hanyo), (more coming soon)
