This is a list of characters' weight in Ultra Smash Bros. IV.

In this game, the shield resistance is influenced by the character weightness. As example, Jigglypuff is the lightest character in the game, so, she has the best shield resistance, even the shield field is small; or, Bowser is the heaviest character in the game, so, he has the worst shield resistance, even his shield field is big as his size. With this method, the gameplay is even more balanced.

This list is divided in 5 classes:

• Heavy (rank 1-7)
• Medium-heavy (8-26)
• Medium (27-58)
• Medium-light (59-84)
• Light (85-103)

The weight determines how many percent the character could being killed without rage effect. Resistance, or shield resistance is determined how many percent the character does take to be shield broken. Like it was written above, this game allows heavy players break their shields easily and light characters the opposite.
