Vanilla, officially Vanilla Games Inc., is a small game company who creates games for Nintendo. Founded by NicoOsu on the 22nd of October 2016, the company is extremely new, and has as of yet released any games under the name Vanilla. A few games are in early stages of development, but these are yet to be revealed.

History[]

On the 22nd of October, NicoOsu created Vanilla- a project-funded game developing company based around life simulation, tycoon gaming and other simulators. The company's first experience in the gaming market was Animal Crossing: Blossom Season, in the original Nintendo-franchise Animal Crossing. While the game has not been released yet, many members of the company were on the production team, including game scripter; Michael Dork, co-director Yasuta Nara and game translator Celicia Varjez. The project was not considered a Vanilla title, but rather an experiment for how Vanilla may develop in the future, and aiding Nintendo create the game. On the 23rd of October, Vanilla Inc. bought the rights to create new MySims and SimCity games, under a joint venture with Nintendo and EA, leading to the possibility of a brand-new SimCity game in upcoming years, possibly for the Switch or the 3DS. One hour after the aquirement, Vanilla posted a picture of the cancelled "MySims Friends" game with the caption "Guess what's coming back". Though no other news has been said, and no official release has been announced.
