Fantendo - Game Ideas & More

Hi guys, I'm not sure how many of you remember or even know me but I know some do. Basically I was very active here from 2011 to 2015 I think, then it just gradually got less and I eventually stopped editing somewhere in 2016, although my last contribution was apparently in January 2017. Point is that I never really said goodbye and that's actually pretty rude considering the friends I made here. So if you'll still have it, I want to give you guys a big and genuine thank you.

Even opening the editor after 'all those years'  (it seems way longer than it actually is) immediately brings back a lot of good memories, and I do miss passionately working on articles and making artwork. It was just really fun, but other things became more important in my life. Also the standard I eventually set for my artwork became way too time-consuming especially when I got Netflix so I often lost motivation before it was finished. So, I tried leaving Fantendo several times, without succes, so I never wanted to say goodbye in case I'd come back again (and I'd just look like another victim of that gypsy curse thing). In fact I wanted to return until like half a year ago with a reboot of one of my unfinished articles into a Once Upon A Time-inspired game similar to an earlier version of Happily Ever After, but that never got further than some stories and sketches.

So yeah, I'm still alive. In case people wonder what I've been up to, I'm now 20 years old, I graduated from college (/high school? Still don't fully understand the American school system), took a gap year and travelled through Europe and Southeast Asia, and this schoolyear I started studying Pedagogical Sciences at university. I still play games and use Photoshop but both have taken more of a background role in my life. I mainly use Photoshop for unique birthday gifts for my friends that I'm maybe way more passionate about than I should be. Can't really think of anything else to say other than the fact that I'm just fine.

Soo, I hope you'll take this poorly written apology/thank you/goodbye. Thanks for dragging me through the horror of puberty with your creativity, humor, kindness and different timezones I still can't sleep at night. I will not forget this place. I feel like I'm not really good with words at the moment but I hope the message comes across. I'd love to hear from you to see how you're doing, so I'd really appreciate it if you leave a comment if you remember me (or have a question or want to say something or whatever).

Lastly, if any of the former Henry Mails --jeez that's a while back isn't it-- sees this, please show this to the others if you guys are still in touch. ♡
