Can we please establish rules about character usage?
We have no rules, really, at all. A lot of people defend using peoples' characters because they left and aren't using the ideas, and a lot of people defend the idea that characters shouldn't be used without permission--regardless of if someone has left the wiki.
So I really think there should be a discussion about this. Anyway tell the following of your opinions:
- Support : I agree that we should establish a rule that characters can be only used with permission, regardless of if someone left. Their ideas must remain untouched unless given permission or if they left their ideas as "free to use."
- Oppose : Characters should be free to use if the creator of a character is hard to get into contact with or has left the wiki, regardless of the fact that they never established their characters as free to use and we know that they are not using their character.
- Neutral : These options aren't good and I think there should be another option
