The United States of America is turning 241 this year after becoming independent from Britain in 1776. And since I don't think anyone made a blog for it, Canada Day was Saturday, marking the 150th anniversary of the formation of the Dominion of Canada in 1867. Great achievement for both nations, having survived for many years and winning major wars worldwide.
