Fantendo - Game Ideas & More

If we are going to push towards a healthier, safer community for Fantendo, I think a lot of us could benefit from a discussion about a problem that has plagued the site for years: dramatic tensions between different users or groups of users.

I'm sure most of y'all have experienced at least one of these situations. It happened in the age of Ruse Week, the Lapis Wiki, and related events, and it happened in a conflict between users in the official Fantendo Discord server and a smaller friend group of wiki members named TimeStrike. Tensions may also arise between specific users, and when left alone for too long, it can cause dramatic interactions in comments on the wiki itself.

I, of course, am not innocent in this regard. I've had a habit of maintaining grudges against people on Fantendo for far too long, and it's contributed to the decimation of the community's overall integrity as well as my own self-esteem. I want to be able to patch things together so we can generally be happier as a community.

I'd like you guys to think about past interactions with other users on the site (or on Discord) and talk about them in the comments below, so we can have a general consensus on how these tensions arise in the first place and determine how to avoid them moving forward. If possible, I encourage you to try and set things right with the other person involved.

Understanding both sides of the story is important - we can't heal as a community if we aren't willing to listen to each other. So please, try to keep things as civil as possible!
