So you might have heard about Fantendo Smash Bros. Shattered and how it will create a new Fantendoverse.
So how does everything fit into it? Well, we're not exactly sure. We haven't figured everything out but I've come up with a handy purge/add list.
PURGING:
- White Goddess and Black God
- All Doodleland stuff, most of Elise and Arale's stuff
- Ella Metals
ADDING:
- From now on, the Prodigy timeline is the only canon Unten timeline. Fissure 2014 - Tragedy 2015.
- Sr. Wario's Ghost Smile reboot is canon
- Although a majority of the old events won't make sense due to the lack of some characters, there will be a new event that kicks off this new universe that contains some of the old stuff that can still be salvaged.
Why are we doing this? The Fantendoverse has gotten extremely convoluted. Stuff is still being built off stuff that doesn't exist anymore. The purge was meant to happen around three years ago, but it didn't.
So what does it mean for you?
Well, if you're not making a Unten game or using Ella Metals... nothing. Most of your series have become self-contained, so in the new Fantendoverse adding them should be relatively easily. Your series will run as it normally would.
We are looking for a bigger cohesive narrative for the next Fantendoverse while salvaging what we have with this old one before ending it. If there is any events that can fit in this timeline:
- The original Fissure saga
- Fantendo Playing War
- Fantendo - Dark of Zeon
- Fantendo Visual Novel: Fracture
- Fantendo Smash Bros. Shattered
