Across the years since the Alola starter Pokémon were first revealed to the public, something about Popplio has given me an ongoing joy and reassurance. I see a lot of myself in Popplio, and I see a lot of Popplio in my house, having invested in a bit of merch.
Today (in month-day order) is 7-28, which spells Popplio's National Pokédex number. Accordingly, I declare this date Popplio Day!
I would really appreciate it if we dedicated something to Popplio's evolutionary line today: be it making or sharing fanart, or just voicing any appreciation you have. So, this blog will probably work like a community draw with general discussion of the character, too.
You don't have to do much, but if you're able, going above and beyond would help make this day really special!
