The trailer opens with Elektra talking to someone inside a throne room, a satisfied smile on her face.
- Elektra: For years, I have been searching for a partner. Someone who understood why people like us need to exist. I thought Matt would be that person...but it seems that it’s you.
The camera pans over to show a smirking Mallory, who nods slowly.
- Mallory: It seems so.
Hitchin’ A Ride begins playing as the Marvel and Inora logos are shown.
Inside a spaceship, we see Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny “Iron Fist” Rand talking to Endal.
- Endal: Your Elektra, she discovered a portal between our two universes. Now she’s allied with Mallory, a despicable fool of a queen. How bad does that sound to you?
Jessica sighs and takes a flask of whiskey out of her pocket, downing it.
- Jessica: Pretty goddamn bad.
From above the Zaxinian Lifts, the four look down on a combined army of Hene clones and Hand soldiers in terror. Mallory speaks to the entire realm through a magical broadcast, Elektra at her side.
- Mallory: My...somewhat loyal subjects, I’d like to announce that today is the beginning of a new era. Alongside my new ally Elektra and her loyal followers, we plan to usher in a Mallorian Monarchy that will exist until the end of time.
Concerned, Danny raises an eyebrow and scratches the back of his neck.
- Danny: Now it sounds really, really bad.
Endal walks over to the cockpit of his ship and growls, his new allies looking at him with confusion.
- Luke: Where are you planning on taking us?
He starts up the ship, his eyes darting down to the digital map on his control panel.
- Endal: If we’re going to stop them, we’ll need a team. A big one.
Gameplay shows a 3v3 match with Jessica, Luke, and Danny on one side and Aurora, Aero, and Beam on the other. Both teams are working to destroy the other and build up a mysterious black bar in the top corners of the screen.
- Aurora: It’s eighteen of us against an army. The odds are not in our favor, everyone.
Across from her, Laura “Wolverine” Kinney shrugs and extends her claws.
- Laura: They never have been.
The eight aforementioned heroes are shown doing battle with wave after wave of Hene clones and Hand ninjas.
TWO UNIVERSES ARE IN DANGER.
A cutscene has the Hand using a massive drill to dig into the Lifts, which causes tears in the fabric of time and space to form.
IT’S UP TO THESE LOSERS TO SAVE THEM.
Jessica, Luke, Danny, Wolverine, Aurora, Aero, Beam, and Endal all charge towards Elektra and Mallory as the trailer cuts to black.
