Happy Pride Month

it's june, and you know what that means! last year we had a blog to celebrate this but it kinda went downhill which is pretty telling about general perception of the lgbt community. there's a high amount of lgbt users on this site, myself included, and i hope this month can be a time we can feel welcome and accepted!

we've come a long ways just in my lifetime in regards to lgbt rights. until 2003 it was illegal for two people of the same sex to have sexual relations in many states of the U.S., including where i live. it's 2018 now and it's legal for same sex couples to get married nationwide in the U.S. while more and more nations across the world are advancing in lgbt rights-- albeit slowly for some.

The Senate is about to vote on Net Neutrality

We've had a couple of blogs on this in the past so I thought I'd post one here to keep our users up to date.

This is potentially the final stand for net neutrality-- this could be a chance to restore it if everything goes right. If you live in a U.S. state and you want to take action, you should consider contacting your senators to tell them you support net neutrality.

This is likely our last chance to restore net neutrality for YEARS to come! Please support the cause, and let's hope our government does something right for once and is able to protect net neutrality.

Remember to vote in 2018 and 2020 to prevent this whole scenario from happening again!
