Fantendo - Game Ideas & More

I could swear saying that I'd only do it every two months, but I'm making this an exception; FandomDesktop is about to land on us, and I wanna make the most out of the last days of Oasis, hence why we're doing one of these early. Since I don't have further to say... let's get started.

The Other Projects?[]

The first thing I want and need to discuss about is where the heck Starshot Levelworld, Former Platforms, London Falls, etc. progress has gone. The answer? I just kinda lost interest, but I'm hoping that I can get back to one of these once I'm finished with the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ICTs (Insanity Carousel Tickets). The progress might be a bit slow on them, but I hope to try and make them the best as I can try and get them.

Kotomo Beyond is still active, and like I said I did an entire revamp. I've been doing more of my research, so Kotomo/Kutekina will sometimes now be based off of weird-but-true facts, and not just animals or whatever. For example, how about one about Pythagoras being against eating beans?

That being said, I wanna elaborate that Architect is somewhat of a hard type to play around with. I've already stated to you it's something like Renaissance and before inventions or probably modern-day things that don't exactly qualify as Digital, but I'm considering adding some math and whatever into it just in case. I want this to be an insane-yet-made-possible type.

The Insanity Carousel Be Goin' Wild[]

So, let's count how much fighters I've got planned for the Insanity Carousel. 50... 57... 60... EIGHTY-SIX! 86 fighters implemented into it! Now, I figured out my problem with Smash games is that I'd usually get so cocky that I believe I can do them on my own, then it turns out I can't get them done on my own, I try and get help from others, I end up failing, boom we've failed and project is now a figment of history. In other words, my strategy for making a Smash game? Smash in fighters I see as good without caring a SIIINGLE bit about research, which, y'know, is the worst way to go. I'm always like that.

I decided to try and step back and NOT do that, though there are certain problems here and there, such as the fact I still sometimes do that. So, sometimes I have to make up my own moves for the characters to make them viable.

Now, anyhow. Onto the real stuff! I'm not in the state of mind to do entire cutscene reveals, so let's be simple, okay?

The first fighter revealed is a normal Primid. An absolutely normal one. That means Primid won't necessarily use other Primid abilities such as fire-spewing (with the sole exception of Sword Primid, if he's holding a Beam Sword at least), and will mostly focus on amplified versions of its very own normal attacks. Of course, that doesn't mean it won't have zero new attacks up its sleeves...

Second up is Aran Ryan; I accidentally spoiled him during the reveal of the ICT, so I might as well give him a description of how he plays: Aran Ryan, true to his source, is still a cheater. Heck, his underhanded tactics go far enough for him to basically have Smash Attacks where he outright breaks the rule of Smash Attacks: it's a charged attack where you have to stand still to execute it. Thankfully, he will be stunned if he hits a shield with one of these Smash Attacks.

Third? Prince Fluff. Most of his specials are going to revolve around Ravel Abilities. I don't have much to say here actually, except his playstyle's a bit of a lightweight being unable to fly due to being made of yarn. Oh, and he does involves some of his Yarn Transformations into his other attacks (aside from, obviously, Ravel Abilities).

Lastly, let me say that Cupheads will be fighters- and yes, by Cupheads, I mean not just one, but TWO Cupheads (obviously). One is from the mainline game, while the other is a bit more melee-orientated. Melee-orientated...? Yes, because one of those Cupheadas are from THE CUPHEAD SHOW! TCS Cuphead might have to take some time, though- The Cuphead Show isn't released yet, and I scarcely have enough details to make a moveset outta him. Plus, it's not even out! I don't wanna spoil the fun.

I also want to say that I'm prepping up a doc to show y'all the fighters I revealed- I'm planning to release it sometime soon lest I'm not being overly scared. And that is all for this one! Moving on.

Coming Soon: A Region for Pokémon![]

Yes, I know what your first response might be: "But you're working on Kotomo Beyond!" That's not stopping me from making a region of Pokémon based off of the USA as a whole! Since Kotomo Beyond got me a bit dazed, I, well, kind of a weird habit where after a while of liking series I just drop out and cancel the game I was intending to work on based off of it.

This'll come once I finish the Galar Revamp I'm currently working on, but I'm mostly going to save the good concepts for Kotomo Beyond- I'm probably going to have to slap on the requirement of finishing Kotomo Beyond up before I start on it. Until then, though! Well. Actually, I do wanna give a slight detail that you're basically going to have to go through the same case Ash went through- you're late for the starters so to compensate you're getting a different starter. Except this time it's a one-or-the-other, rather than a choice of three. I'll give you a hint, they're not super-effective against each other.

What Should I Do...?[]

So, I fear that FandomDesktop is gonna like UCP, just furthering my loneliness and lack of help. Now, without recommending me to get Discord, what on earth should I do? Should I try and reopen my Chatzy room? Maybe use a Google Doc to get help from others via giving me constructive criticism? I got no idea on what to do.

Until then, see you next time.
