  • Stuff are going to slow down next week but probably not too much. Actually I can't tell if progress is slow. Right now I'm just working on it by myself.
  • The art direction is suffering. With Chat leaving when we get to the UCP, I'm not really sure what to do as that's currently the best way of communication. I already know you're gonna bombard me with "Get Discord/Twitter!" but I am not gonna reveal why I can't get Discord or Twitter, since it's private. And private stuff I do not reveal easily. Now don't ask about it.
    • I may choose the latter since, well. Saranctha is more active on Twitter. I do know what times Saranctha is awake at.
  • I'm finished with Sipplesap Crags, I hope to get to the Kutekina soon. Speaking of which, you guys may ask me where the Kutekina are. Let me tell you something:
    • The traits are personally restricting me and I don't wanna remove the boundaries as to not make Kutekina look like Kotomo but renamed. Hence why you won't be seeing Cosmic/Mythic or somethin' like that.
    • It felt too tedious to have to copy the same color over and over again for the KotomoType template. You may be asking me why i'm not using code. Good question. I may do so later.
    • I do not want to do overlap ideas with Kotomo and Kutekina. Speaking of which...
  • Potential Bad Move: The game's (pre-)advancements are being made while Kotomo and Abandoned Tales are still in progress, so their may be idea overlap (Awburn and Brawline especially). For the former I actually just made them quadruped as to avoid similarities to Bursa which was made before Awburn (had to change Awburn's species name to the Cub Kotomo), and Brawline, well... it's not here. If you want the reason without looking at my Kotomo game, lemme explain:
    • Brawline just felt like Wolveraze but smaller (and weaker but still strong). A pack of Brawlines can decimate an entire building while Wolveraze can just decimate an entire city, and Brawlines just want to make everything their punching bags while Wolveraze makes stuff their punching bags to prove it's powerful. It just felt too similar.
    • Pathelpha advancing into Brawline would be problematic in my opinion. Why, you ask? Brawline (at least in packs) already shows a good amount of strength that it doesn't feel like it needs to redeem its strength. Pathelpha into Brawline would just be problematic IMO, since it's item advancement then normal advancement. I already liked the evolution method, so that's how Brawline got scrapped.
  • Regarding advancement directions...
    • The Urku line will expand in a certain world. I don't wanna specify which one though.
    • Deseptin is gonna have a pre-advancement, it's retyped to Wind/Shadow, and its ability is changed to Sky Cloak. Technically, this makes it the only international Local Variant (READ: not exclusive to a specific zone). I actually didn't have plans to completely change it but the way its pre-advancements work basically means I had to resort to doing so. Sorry.
      • Quick Side Note: The original Deseptin (the one that's Earth/Shadow) will make an appearance in the form of a cameo.
    • Cindrake gets a bigger family line than Deseptin. No, that is not a joke.
  • Struggling on the Local Variants, worse being Rarcian Fontaine. I want to keep the New/Replaced Advancement Local Advancements balanced and not wildly out of control, and since I have so much ideas, I just don't know WHAT to pick at all. Speaking of which I am at the brink of just dropping the No Local Advancement Kotomo entirely.
    • If the "No Local Advancement Kotomo" purge happens, Gigapagos might get an advancement.
      • Mind Change: If the purge happens, I'm just gonna still do 36 Local Variants, except this time each zone has one "new advancement" and "replaced advancement". Though this might be a bit restricted, I don't know.
        • I'm working on the local variants right now. Depending on how much I like them... the purge might happen. I'll miss MYT-Shamini (the oriignal one, I'm planning a new one), I liked the concept of role reversal.
  • I'm working on descriptions for returning Kotomo, but I'm seperating it from the new Kotomo. Personally I don't like it when the returning Kotomo blend in with the new Kotomo.
  • Once I am done with this game which will be a long journey, I will start doing DLC.
    • First DLC will start having Vacadia Local Variants after the base game had Heiwana Local Variants. Dunno what Second DLC would include, really.
  • There is at least one base stage Kotomo per type combination with at least one or two advancements (no branching paths). Yep, that's right! And due to this, I overloaded on Kotomo and thus am nearly done. Oh and for Kutekina, the "Have at least one of this trait" rule does not exist for them.
  • I know you guys are concerned about the usage of Neutral, because of Oddish tellin' me. Let me tell you something, though I'm pretty sure Oddish already told you it's actually related to Mighty Monsters's Normal Monsters. You see, Normal Monsters, when ready to evolve, actually branch off to new territories. For example you've got a Normal Monster that can either become Ice or Fire and a Normal Monster that can either become Ice, Poison, or Magic, but you'd never see a Normal Monster become Normal when it advances. If I remember there was like only four branching Monsters that aren't Normal hence why we still got drops of that here (Cumba, Ioginal).
  • If there is one new Kotomo I wanna reveal that I made info for, that's Rosla (Electric/Light). This Kotomo mainly benefits off of either Stormy weather or Electric Kotomo.
  • The next zone you'll be seeing is Wikin Meadows. I don't have anymore info aside from it being the Plant World.
  • About Surge Kotomo, I came up with the Flame and Digital one. The Digital one's name is Chorus K9. If you think hard enough, you'll see some reference.
    • Regarding the Flame one, it's basically a fireball dodgefest before trying to get the most hits on it.
  • I wish to have more synergy with Kutekina. And no, I'm not going to drop the Kutekina concept.
  • If you're Samtendo09:
    • Sorry buddy for not including Brawline. I just didn't really like the fact it was basically just Wolveraze but small and I didn't want some problems with Pathelpha becoming Brawline.
    • I was gonna change Picipiu but I did not want to go strict on you.
    • I'm renaming Mutarter since it really doesn't fit with its name (mutant + starter) and again I don't want to go strict on you.
  • Green Thumb buffs Plant moves now. This allows it to not be absolutely useless, since in previous games it buffed Grass moves.

FILLER BONUS: Traits if they WEREN'T restricted to Kutekina

This only goes for Kotomo from the original Kotomo and the new advancements of Abandoned Tales (since I had to go). If you want to quickly skip this section, do Control+F and copy paste "welcometotheend" into it. Actually, it won't take that long.
