Reminder: Submissions are now over!

So I recently publish a new game, Monster Industries, so I got bored and decided that I wanted to do another contest, similar to the Create-A-Killer Contest for KillGames 2. So... welcome to the Create-A-Specimen Contest!

Do you have some sort of idea for a potential specimen that can appear in Monster Industries? Want an excuse to come up with a terrifying monster? Well you're in luck! I'm going to allow people to submit their ideas, and then the three most popular choices will join! Similar to the last poll I did, once we get enough people, I'll post a seperate poll blog, and whoever gets the most votes will join!

Rules

  • You can submit up to 2 different specimens.
  • Your submissions should include the following.

    • Trait: Some ability that grants them immunity to certain objects, a required object in order to be happy, some sort of special attack, or something that can affect your worker's stress.
  • Your specimen doesn't have to be original. If I forgot a monster you'd like to see you can request it. Of course, I'd still love to see your ideas!
  • Though you don't have to, I'd love if you could post a picture as well!

Yuki-onna

An elegant-looking woman with a very pale colorscheme wearing a kimono. They float off the ground, lacking any sort of feet, and are constantly surrounded in a fine chilling mist. Though they often hide their faces from individuals, when they turn to face the player, part of their face is obscured in ice.

Submitted by ValkyriePyra (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Asynthis
  • Specimen Type: Undead
  • Enviornment: Forest

Trait:

Possessive - Yuki-onna are very lonesome and will attempt to remain in the presence of humans as much as possible, stalking them but not causing harm. Humans within a small radius around it will build up stress. If separated from all human contact, Yuki-onna grow restless and will eventually phase through walls in order to find the nearest human.

Enemy Kraft User

These guys are usually large japanese students wearing school clothing, though what kind of clothing varries. Their ghost, a "Kraft" is never seen, though they describes it as a giant monster. They usually rant to anyone listening about "Vampires" and "Arrows" and claim to know how to achieve true "requiem". They usually dislike company.

Submitted by Gold-sans mobile (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Epikindynos
  • Specimen Type: Human
  • Enviornment: House

Trait:

Menacing - For someone so young, they are very good at making others fear them. They will occasionally glare at guests, causing them discomfort and even fear. Their most dangerous aspect, however, is their "Kraft", which can actually attack workers and guests if there are too many people in the same room as them. Best to keep them as a limited attraction, or at least in a small room with not many people.

Sandworm

A worm-like creature with a slender body, usually appearing tan in color. It's face is normally closed up, but once opened, reveals many venomous rows of teeth. They also have two small round eyes that are completely black and poor for sight. They prefer digging in sandy or rocky environments, concealing themselves in the ground.

Submitted by TheWikiOddish (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Asynthis
  • Specimen Type: Beast
  • Enviornment: Cave

Trait:

Venomous - Once a human is in close range of a Sandworm, they will lunge out of the ground and open their face, biting down with their venomous jaw. This inflicts a "Poisoned" status on the human, slowly draining them of health until they die. Workers around any "Poisoned" humans that are still alive will start to become stressed. If they have bitten humans multiple times, they may become more hostile and may try to escape their enclosure through digging.

Fungus

A large, green, bioluminescent mushroom with a spotted cap and a pale stalk. Smaller mushrooms branch off of the stalk. They have small roots that allow them to move around, albeit quite slowly.

Submitted by IntertidalHorizon (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Asynthis
  • Specimen Type: Beast
  • Environment: Swamp

Trait:

Spores - Fungi will release spores into their chamber. The spores will coat the walls over time, preventing guests from seeing the fungi, making them unhappy. Personnel will have to clean the glass, but they will become a host to the fungi and turn violent if they are not wearing protective gear. Hosts will emit spores themselves, allowing the fungus to spread further.

Kappa

Kappas are turtle-like yo-kai (spirits) from Japanese mythology. It takes the appearance of a small bipedal, green humanoid creature with beaks, webbed feet, a turtle shell, wild unkempt hair, and a bowl-like indentation in their head. Kappas can range from mischevious pranksters who pull innocent pranks to malevolent monsters who assault and drown people in rivers for fun. Kappas, however, have a very strong sense of honor and can act friendly towards humans. They have a "dish" in their head that holds water, without water on it kappas will be severely weakened. They also are fond of cucumbers.

Submitted by El Guac (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Asynthis
  • Specimen Type: Beast
  • Enviornment: Swamp
  • Compatability: Merman

Trait:

Honor-bound - Kappas treated well and given good care of will almost never, if not never, act up or help other specimens to escape, to the point of going down to a Delios threat level. Kappas who are not given enough care will become very violent and aggressive, and will be able to break through regular walls. Kappas require water in their enclosures, if not, they will start to rapidly weaken until they die.

Rotted-Tooth Beast

Rotted Tooth Beast

Rotted Tooth Beasts are 4 legged, elongated carnivores with external teeth, a system of diverging tounges that are able to slip out of the many opening on its body to easily pick off prey, the place it originated from is unknown, but traces from a recent crash site that actually contained tooth beast eggs do point to the creatures being of extra-terrestrial origin, the hypothesized planet has said to have been located in the nearest star system to earth Alpha-Centari which is a couple of hundred light-years away from our little blue marble, many have also suggested ways these beasts could've gotten to earth with the most likely conclusion being that the very planet itself is falling apart and chunks of it art turning into meteors being flung out into space at dangerously high speeds, many of these hypothesized meteors have seeming hit the moon but no traces of them could ever be found.

Submitted by Empress Scarlet (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Epikindynos
  • Specimen Type: Beast
  • Enviornment: Cave

Trait:

Horrid Aero-Toxin - this beast can let out a horrific smelling gas from its pores and from the holes around its body, this gas is highly poisonous and will either cause a person to die upon smelling it or if they survive they can either get horrific seizures, hallucinations, their brain going numb or, almost becoming dehydrated from the toxin slowly soaking the moisture out of you.

Bleeding Moon

Veining Moon

Veining moons resemble wayning/crescent moons, with a detached mouth with massive rows of sharp teeth that are only being held up by red fleshy pipes, it also has 2 detached hands with dangerously sharp claws that can tear through anything, the origins of this demonic apparition have traced back hundreds of years when old photographs showing this creature terrorizing a small town during the day, it managed to kill half the population and severely scar the other half, it then drifted off to part unknown until this creature showed up again floating across the pacific ocean in 2008 by a small ship crew, it was looking for whales and sharks to feast off of, the crew then took pictures of it and a few video recording of it, but just as they turned their back, they were slaughtered by the veining moon along with the crew being dead, the evidence they took of the creature was scattered all across the globe in very remote parts of the world, where no human could ever possibly find them.

Submitted by Empress Scarlet (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Anexigito
  • Specimen Type: Supernatural
  • Enviornment: Hellscape

Trait:

Organ Harvest/Brain Melter - the veining moon will look for its closest target, hunt them down and fry their skin to a crisp while keeping the organs from burning themselves, then the creature bites the victims head while a corkscrew-like tongue burrows deep into their body while their organs are sucked out when done, the harvested organs will form a gross looking body made from said organs, making it able to talk, walk and act like a human, in a very creepy and eerie way, it does this to communicate with people, when people hear the sound of the veining moon's voice, they have no other choice but to obey it thus destroying their brain and free will, the range and spread of its brain killing voice will increase depending on how many bodies it harvests.

Chimera

Chimera take on the body of one quadruped animal and the head of another, much larger animal, with a serpentine being taking the place of a tail. The head can breathe ice, the tail can launch fireballs, and the main body can generate electricity for a close-range attack. They are very territorial, and when another individual, even another chimera, comes close to them, they will instantly try to fight them off.

Submitted by KirbiMiroir (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Epikindynos
  • Specimen Type: Beast
  • Enviornment: Ruins

Trait:

Elemental - Chimera can generate fire, ice or electricity, and depending on the chosen captivity they may be able to break free easily. To make things easier, every chimera will favour one element over the other three, though when provoked they will always rely on all three elements. As such, when first approaching a chimera it is recommended to study their element of choice from a distance.

Azuli

Azuli

Azuli are eel-like dragons of an unknown origin, though it is generally agreed they are from somewhere in space. Their very nature is bizarre, defying most natural conventions; They float in the air without anything supporting them, their "blood" is an odd cyan light that vanishes shortly after contact with air, and the temperature drops when they are in the general vicinity. Their most uncanny trait, however, is their unnervingly human-like intelligence, being able to distinguish different people, develop their own personalities, and even form bonds with humans or other monsters.

Submitted by SharkLord1954 (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Asynthis
  • Specimen Type: Supernatural
  • Enviornment: Cave

Trait:

Bond - Azuli develop a psychic bond with a single human, which is beneficial to both. The Azuli becomes almost docile, to the point of becoming Deilos-level, while the human's stress level drops. If the bond becomes strong enough, this will spread to other employees. If an Azuli is deprived of human contact, especially if they already have a bond, they will become aggressive and irritable, and the human's stress level will increase. If the human dies, the Azuli will go berserk, shooting up to Anexigito-level and smashing through the walls. It then goes on a rampage, freezing and smashing everything in sight, before sinking into a deep depression and becoming unresponsive until it starves to death. Long story short, once your employee bonds with an Azuli, keep them alive at all costs.

Scry

Scries are literally just eyeballs with eyes on them. Technically, this means they have three eyes, and develop a very unnerving stare. Generally they're very social and like being paired together, and usually come in packs of 10 to 100. Without being near other Scries, they go insane.

Submitted by MrYokaiAndWatch902 (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Epikindynos (Deilos when grouped)
  • Specimen Type: Supernatural
  • Enviornment: Laboratory

Trait:

Eye Pact - Scries tend to love being in groups and their stats show; their main attack is a weak optic laser beams but once they're alone they resort to acting like a minigun with their lazers. But probably the most glaring thing is that they literally like to mess around with your cameras, disabling them until somebody fixes it. Also to note that if it's just one Scry at the camera, they give out a real unnerving stare that causes a rapid increase in stress as the strobe lights at the employee's face as they laugh.

Aka Manto

A yo-kai that's probably the strangest you're going to get, inhabiting... restroom stalls? Whatever it is, long story short, they'll kill anyone in the restroom and flush down their remains.

Submitted by MrYokaiAndWatch902 (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Asynthis
  • Specimen Type: Supernatural
  • Enviornment: House

Trait:

Toilet Stalker - If it makes eye contact with a human and are not entertained by it and see it going into a restroom, or if a Researcher researches it while awake, once they go to the restroom and go into a stall, they will instantly kill the human and flush their remains down the toilet. While doing so, they teleport, ignoring all security items. If you want to dodge this, you should try and distance the restroom away from it.

causes a rapid increase in stress as the strobe lights at the employee's face as they laugh.</p>

Fly

The result of a failed experiment concerning genetic modification, the Fly was once a normal man who was transformed into a grotesque hybrid between man and insect. With two large wings, the Fly has fully embraced it's metamorphosis and now is as dangerous as many other monsters. It will fly out of any holding that is not secured from the roof, and is incredibly vicious, although it can be taken down quite easily

Submitted by UnidentifiedFroggy (tbc)

  • Threat Level: Asynthis
  • Specimen Type: Beast
  • Enviornment: Laboratory

Trait:

Eggs - If the Fly ever manages to attack a staff member, it will lay it's eggs inside the staff. 2-3 days later the staff will begin to metamorphose into another Fly, with the transformation complete within hours. While this is a profitable way to create more specimens, it can also be draining on human resources. A similar transformation will occur if the Fly manages to kill a staff member.
