Changes to Classic Featured Articles

Hello everyone. A few years ago, at my behest, we created the Classic Featured Articles list, which is a separate list from the featured articles that includes all of those articles that had been featured in the past but no longer qualified to be featured given the changing level of quality expected by the wiki. We moved 27 articles to that list via popular vote, representing those that were previously considered top class but were now not only below the level of featured, but possibly even below average and in some cases may be considered stubs or rewrite material if they were created today.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity announced

Nintendo has announced Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a new KOEI Tecmo game based on the events occurring 100 years before The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

There will be more news coming on September 26th and it will be released on November 20th, 2020.

Most Beloved Nintendo Series

Hey everyone, I'm doing research for a crossover project that is aimed at both hardcore Nintendo fans and newcomers to their numerous franchises, and so I want to appeal to everyone. As such, I wanted to see which series make people the most excited, as I want to focus on those. While this may be a bit of a biased sample size on Fantendo, I'm also asking many friends, many of whom are not major Nintendo fans, to try and see which series are loved the most and which are more relevant and such. I'd ask that below, you rank your five most liked Nintendo series in order. For example:

Wonderfule 101: Remastered Kickstarter reaching goal in less than 30 minutes

Platinum Games posted a Kickstarter today to get a remastered version of their cult classic The Wonderful 101 published for various consoles, including for the Nintendo Switch and possibly on Steam and PS4. Here is the Kickstarter for those curious.

The goal of $50,010 USD was passed in almost 30 minutes, and is now at almost $300,000 USD; it might surpass a million by the end of the day, reaching all of the incremental goals as well. Notably, some of the pledge rewards include the option to get blocked by lead director Kamiya on Twitter, a reference to his well known Twitter jokes involving blocking critics and trolls.
