So, in the chat recently, a lot of people have been calling other people they dont agree with "Hitler" or a nazi.

It frankly is offending to me, both as a German citizen and as someone who has family members that lived through the Holocaust. Like, yeah, they're bad and it's impossible to agree with, but they're not someone who puts innocent people in concentration camps and kills them.

I'm disabling commenting because it's not something meant to be commented on. It's not a debate, not an argument. It's how I feel about something and if you don't like it, then suck it up.

And at least if people don't take it into consideration, I'm allowed to make 9/11 jokes because our countries feel the same way about each event.

Title says it all, I'm doing an essay for Anthropology, and we're talking about a theoretical country in Antarctica in class. Remember: All answers are kept anonymous.

The languages I started with were Spanish and Norwegian, because

    • Antarctica is just South of South America, which is composed mostly of Spanish-speaking countries.
    • Norway owns the largest Antarctic territory.

But then I added English. Not sure what this has to do with anything, just putting my standpoint on this.
