Undertale: Hidden Powers is a sequel to Undertale.
Plot[]
Upon receiving a call from Toriel that the kingdom is in danger and needs their help, Frisk climbs up Mt. Ebott once again to save the Underground. Upon landing on the same bed of flowers that caught their fall in the first game. Where you would find Flowey in the first game you can find Asriel, who then asks for your phone to call Toriel to tell her that they’re there. Upon traveling through the ruins with new types of enemies, you approach Toriel’s house. Upon entering, Toriel says, “My child, it is good to see you again.” After this, the game window goes black. When the screen returns to normal, a Ninjit stands in front of you, triggering your first boss battle, the Red Ninjit Squadron. After the fight, Toriel then explains what is going on and then joins your team. The team encounters old friends who join your team as you head to New Home to defeat the mysterious force.
Gameplay[]
Like Undertale, the battle menu is still the same, but different Menus for your party members appear. They still have the same Fight, Act, Item, and Mercy buttons, but each has a different function for each character. Along with party members, the mysterious force allows you to take power directly from your soul and use it in your attack, thus dealing more damage than usual. This attack is your special attack and referred to as “Special” in the Fight menu. It works with other party members, as they can also use a special attack. A special attack can be used only a certain amount of times during a battle, and if it were to be attempted to be used after you reach the use limit, the text would say, “Your/chosen party member’s soul does not have enough power,” and reverts to a normal attack.
Party Members[]
There are 7 party members, and each has a set Attack and Special Attack.
