The following is a list of the spells in Trails of the Universe.
For reference, all spells require Mana to cast. The amount of Mana necessary for each spell is equal to the level of that spell.
Black Magic[]
Mark can learn all the Black Magic Spells. Kyle can also use Black Magic, but is limited to spells up to Level 5. Finally, Jordin can use all the Black Magic Spells to Level 3, with the exception of Psych.
Black Magic Spells are mostly focused on damaging foes, but there are some spells which inflict Instant Death. However, the Instant Death spells are often ineffective, as the target is usually either a lower level than the caster and thus taken out by other means, or a higher level and therefore immune to the spell. As such, it's best to stick to the damaging spells.

White Magic[]
Katia can use all the White Magic Spells, Kyle can use tWhite Magic up to Level 5, and Theodore can use White Magic up to Level 3, with the exception of Fire Shield, Thunder Shield and Omnicure.
White Magic spells are focused on healing and removing status ailments, making them limited to Rainbow for dealing damage. However, healing spells can be used to harm undead foes.

There is no definitive character who can learn Blue Magic - as such, this table includes an additional column for characters who can learn these spells.
Blue Magic is full of random spells with different effects, although most of them are offensive in nature.
