Trivia

Origin

Tornadus's Incarnate Forme is based on the kami of wind, Fūjin. Its appearance has drawn inspiration from genies.

The appearance of its Therian Forme draws inspiration from various birds of prey, but also from the Vermilion Bird or Huitzilopochtli.

Name Origin

Both Tornadus and Tornelos may be derived from tornado and Aeolus/Aiolos, ruler of the winds in Greek mythology.
