Toon Link is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Calamity. Link is the name given to the Hero of Time in many timelines of the Zelda universe. This Link is the one seen in the Zelda games were cel-shading is used, like The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
Toon Link has more animations for him.
Toon Link's moveset has been changed for the most part.
- Toon Link's side smash is now a forward slam with the Skull Hammer. While being slow to start and having high ending lag, this move is way more powerful than his previous side smash.
- Toon Link now uses the Roll Attack from The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap for his dash attack, which deals more damage.
- Up special is now Deku Leaf, in which Toon Link rises upwards a short distance and opens out the Deku Leaf, slowly floating downwards. The move deals less damage than the Spin Attack and does not cover as much distance as it neither.
- Final Smash is now Four Swords Strike, in which Toon Link yields the Four Sword, creating three replicas of himself who do multiple strikes to the opponent near Toon Link.
- Toon Link can wall jump.
