The NEW Legend of Zelda is a game on the DS created by Nintendo that starts as the original Legend of Zelda, but soon becomes a whole new game.
Story[]
The evil king of darkness Ganondorf, by some mistake, had been given the Triforce of power. However, his greed resulted in him wishing to obtain the other two pieces. He did not know who wielded the Triforce of Courage, but he knew that Princess Zelda had the Triforce of Wisdom. As such, he transformed into Ganon by using the Dark Trident, then attempted to kidnap Princess Zelda. But before he could get the Triforce of Wisdom, Zelda split it into 8 pieces which she spread across Hyrule. Meanwhile, Zelda's assistant Impa escaped from the castle, but was attacked by Moblins. Luckily, a young boy known only as Link came and took them all out with his bare hands. Impa saw the mark of the Triforce on Link's hand, and took him into a nearby cave where they found an old man, who gave Link a sword. Impa told Link of the danger and sent him out to collect the eight pieces of the Triforce of Wisdom and defeat Ganon.
After the defeat of Manhandla, Impa catches up with Link with info that Ganon is attacking the future and Link needs to get the lost fourth Triforce: the Triforce of Time. Link asks about the Triforce of Wisdom, but Impa says that she has the other pieces. Impa is also now playable. Link Then defeats Ganon and they save the day!
