The Legends is a new game in the R6:CoD lineage, being yet another spin - off, featuring a campaign and a muliplayer mode akin to Apex Legends or Overwatch, called The Time Periods, in which the players are able to choose a specific time period, and the game will give the player a set of maps and the specialists who are suitable to the chosen timeline. The campaign, titled Stains of Time, also employs the same Time Period aspect. The game was released in 2020 on PS4 and PC.
The game was rated 18+ by PEGI for its brutality and swearing, but fans praised it.

The Plot[]
Ark 1. 1979 - 1993.[]
Theme song - Savimbi`s Pride ( BO2 OST ). In this ark, the players fill the shoes of Adrian Degtyarov Sr., a legendary mercenary and an GRU agent, who leads his small team in the jungles of Colombia, searching for Lev Kravchenko. Five - man squad, assisted with local guriella, is ambushed and trapped under heavy enemy fire. Degtyarov manages to flank the assaulters and take them out, and the squad proceeds to the compound. There, after another firefight, the squad corners Kravchenko and assasinates him. They pull out, but one of the squadmates is shot to the ankle and Adrian has to carry him to the evac point under enemy fire and trying to protect himself and his comrades with his PMm. But the squad manages to retreat and return back to base. Several days later, Degtyarov Sr., is deployed in Kastovia alone.

The Ghosts, or GST for short, is a spec - ops military organistaion with a worldwide operational jurisdiction. Having fought countless battles, Ghosts are considered to be a dangerous enemy and a valuable ally. They play a key role in the story mode. The announcer is Scott Mitchell, the commander of GST.

Task Force 141 was formed after the fall of Vladimir Makarov in 2014, after GST operator Adrian Degtyarov Jr. hanged him in Dubai. TF141 has a worldwide jurisdiction, and tends to keep a low profile. Together with Rainbow and Ghosts, they were united in one big CTU, earning themselves a reputation of a demons of the battlefield. The announcer is Kate Laswell, handler and a de - facto commander of TF141.

Operative Style[]
Knight Style[]
The operator, who can and will spare the surrendering enemies, will sacrifice himself in order to save the others or for the greater good. He takes pride in his actions, and lives for honor.
In order to keep the Knight Style, you need to refrain from killing the surrendering enemies and watch your fire when you are saving the hostages. Also, player needs to try and persuade the enemies who pulled the gun, but don`t intend to use it, into surrendering or simply knock them out.
By being a Knight, you will unlock the following equipment:

Spec - Ops Style[]
The operator who can deceive and read the tide of the situation, is valuable asset in the field. He keeps the balance between sparing and killings.
In order to keep the Spec - Ops Style, the player needs to kill as little surrendering targets or civilians as possible, but eliminate any threat by beating them up or shooting them in the head. Also, the player needs to use the surrendering enemies as a human shield or take a proactive stance in the cutscenes.
