The Finale was the nineteenth episode of Season 1 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: The Series. It was the third episode of the three-part finale, and as such, is the finale of the regular season, though it was succeeded by two specials about specific events. It aired on December 7, 2018, the same day Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the game the series was advertising and based on, was officially released for Nintendo Switch.

- Early reports erroneously gave the title of this story as A Finale.
- This episode features every base game playable or assist trophy character of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, being the first episode to feature quite a few of them.
- As a brief teaser, the "Next Time..." trailer is replaced with the appearance of Joker from Persona 5's eyes opening. This was added because Joker had been announced the day prior, but there was no word of him appearing in The Series.
- Shovel Knight makes an extremely minor appearance. Although brief, this makes him the first indie character to appear in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: The Series.
- The title sequence is the same one used for the previous episode, Dark Matter.
