Takasteel (タカスチール Takasuchīru) is a Psychic/Steel-type Mythical Pokémon,

It evolves into Mechasteel when it's level 24 and holding onto a motherboard, but will evolve into Aereusteel instead if holding onto a Cataclysm orb.

Biology[]

Takasteel is a mostly dark blue robot with glowing yellow eyes and arms, while its eyes can be described as mostly grey with yellow irises.

Its head has a helmet on it, which has a spinning gear on the top of it. When it's taken off, it reveals a single motherboard on the left side of its head, while the right side is all black metal, indicating that a second notherboard used to be part of the Pokemon. Both of them are used for processing speech and its reactions to said speech.

A yellow gem on the forehead is also revealed when the helmet is taken off. This gem is attatched to a hidden device that enables telepathic speech, and only activates if the machine had its movement disabled.

A button can be located on its chest, and the light on it indicates if movement is enabled. If it's on, then the machine can move, but can only use its cry to communicate. If it's off, then it'll be stuck in standing position, but it can fully communicate.

The tail is a plug that can be inserted into an outlet. When its plugged in, the machine will recharge its core, and it'll enter sleep mode.

System conversion enables Takasteel to convert its primary type to the type of the move being used(Besides Steel. If it was a steel-type move, the ability wouldn't come into play.)
Its Pokemon cry in the anime is similar to a Pikachu's, except the voice actor is female and it uses "Taka" and "Steel" instead of "Pika" and "Chu"
- "Taka Taka!"
Much like Equonix, Lightie, and the ultra beasts, Takasteel can only be added to the Pokedex if it was caught.
It can fly by using the thrusters within its feet. This allows it to move freely in the air.

Origins[]

The Pokemon was based off of various forms of technology, along with both Light and Dark elements.

Its name is a combination of "Attack" "A" and "Steel".
