Switch Party

Switch Party is a new game for Nintendo Switch,announced at January 9th,and is set to release July 16th.

It obvously brings back the Miis as the protagonists.

The Story is this:

5 Miis(The hosts)are bored and want to put up a Party,inviting every Mii,including your Mii,everybody joins,and the Party starts!

Suzie(Yes,CPU Susie's cousin & The main host)

Minigames[]

The Minigames return,the instructions show a camera feed,showing how the minigame is played.

Four/Three/Two-Player Minigames:[]

Dark Face-Off:New Minigame,Miitopia themed,the Dark Lord(Holding a random Mii's face) will start dropping rocks on a platform the players are standing,if you get hit,you're automatically eliminated,The Dark Lord steals the face of the eliminated Miis,and puts them on Imps,Imps can also mess up with the players that are still in the platform's controls,the last player standing on the platform,wins.

Mii March:It plays similarly to Baton and On from Super Mario Party,it's a march and you must continue the ryhtm.The one who gets more points,wins.
Mansion Monsters:The players have a flashlight,and must shine it to the ghosts that appear on left,mid & right,after some time,more ghosts will appear,and will be harder to shine them,and it will be easier to be taken by them,the last player standing,wins.
Search That Face:It plays on a laboratory-like place,and each player has their own monitor,there is a monitor attached to the wall,and the giant monitor shows a randomly generated Mii's face,the players must search for that face and press X,you press Y if you want to go to the left,and press A if you want to go to the right,you'll lose 1 point if you choose the wrong face.
Tennis Menace:The players are on a roof,and a machine will start throwing tennis ball,the players must hit them with the racket in the MIDDLE,and you gain 5 points,if you get it NEAR to the middle,you gain three,if you get it FAR,you only gain one,you swing the joycon like if it was a racket,there are 5 rounds.
Facial Frolic:A random Mii will be shown,missing a facial feature(eyes,nose,mouth,eyebrows or hair),then 3 facial features will show up,the players must click the missing one to earn a point,there are 3 rounds.
Cycling Pros:Players ride a bicycle,and must collect points by doing poses with the bicycle,cooler the pose is,more points you get,if you fall,you lose 5 points.
Dojo Master:Players are on the top of a temple,and must punch themselves out of the platform,the last one standing wins.
Row Your Boat:Players must row their boat by swinging their joycon left to right to the finish line,there are obstacles such as fishes or tornadoes.The last one to cross the line,gets fourth place.
Ultimate Obstacle Course:The players seem to be in a platform in the sky,they must run to the end of the platform,where the finish line is located,they will be various obstacles like rocks falling from the sky,holes,ladders that have a 50/50 chance of falling or advancing,etc.

1 VS Rivals:[]

Hamburger Ride:Another minigame Miitopia-themed,It takes place on a Peculia Field,where the three/two rivals are playing on there,suddenly the one Mii appears riding a Hamburger from Peculia,the player has 40 seconds to capture all rivals in order to win.If the rivals aren't captured,the RIvals win.If there are 2 rivals,then it is 20 seconds instead of 40.
Cannon Chaos:It's a Tomodachi Life-themed Minigame,and takes place on the island,The Rivals are playing on the beach,while suddenly a ship with the player appear and tries to demolish the island with a cannon.The Rivals must block the places the cannon Mii is trying to shoot down.After 30 seconds pass,and the rivals succesfully block the island places,the rivals win.If the island is succesfully demolished,the Solo Player wins.
Tunnel Trouble:The rivals must pick a tunnel,but the solo player will place a trap on a tunnel,players must choose correctly,if all rivals are trapped before 3 rounds pass,the solo player wins.

Teamwork by 4 players:[]

A new minigame mode,where all 4 players must play together to win!

Superhero Spazz:The players face a giant robot,and they must defeat it before it defeats all 4 players! Player 1 and Player 3 Superheroes throw projectiles to damage the robot,while Player 2 powers up Players 1 and 3,finally Player 4,who actives shields to protect others from being hit.
Button Crusher:The game will ask Player 1 to press a random control button,and pass it to player 2,Player 2 must press another button,and so on,there are 3 rounds.
Jump a Rope:The 4 players must jump a rope in a random park,they must go along the rythm,they get 1 point for each succesful jump.
Bake Sake:You'll have to bake a cake,the first player must put on the flour swinging the joycon,the second one must crack two eggs by shaking the joycon,the third one will have to mix moving the joycon in circles,and the last one,must put it in the oven,moving the joycon to the front,the players have 25 seconds to do it.
Ball Catcher:Some Balls will be thrown on a beach,and players must catch them,after that,all of the points will be counted.
Pro Class Climbers:Players must climb a rope by shaking the joycon,however,if Player 1 doesn't move,he blocks the way to other players.
Timple Terrors:Players must walk a random hallway,but must really be cautious with the doorways in the left and right,since some ghosts will come out and catch a member,they need to stay away and run.

Modes[]

Mii of a Kind(RELOADED):[]

It is hosted by Fermina,it plays the same,but with twists:

Instead of the Wild Mii,there is another similar type,called "Roulette Mii",the Mii pops out a roulette,having 3 different colored Miis,the player can stop the roulette,landing on a Colored-Mii,you choose where to place it,and that's how its played.
There is also a Mii that is an unbeneficial one,called "Eteled Mii",it forces you to replace a row,you can't discard it.
There are also stages one can choose,each having an unique Mii.
- The Dark Lord's Castle is back as a stage,having a Mii called "Dragon Mii",it will scare off a rival's line of Miis,and making them go away.
- A Tennis Court,resembling the one from Wii Sports,It has a Mii called "Rivalry Mii",it will cause a 2 player minigame,the player must choose a rival and play the game against them,if the rival loses,the player will steal a Mii from the rival.
- Wuhu Island,and it has a Mii called "Tropic Mii",that causes the Wuhu Island volcano to erupt,and make some Miis of every player to run away.
- The Wii Play Motion Ninja Temple,and has a Mii called "Ninja Mii",and will change the Mii lineup's color.
- An actual space,and has all of the Miis of above.
Now,all 12 colors from the Mii Maker appear rather than only Blue,Green,Purple,Red & Yellow.

Race Rolls:[]

Hosted by Alexandre,It plays just like Highway Rollers and Board Game Island,except it takes place on a Race Maze,each player starts on a different side,and must reach the center.

The players have normal dices,however they can be altered.

Here are the Squares the player can land on:

+5:The Player goes up five spaces more.
-5:The Player goes back five spaces.
Minigame:All 4 players play a minigame,the one who gets first place,goes up 10 spaces.
CPU Dice:A menu is pulled up,showing 28 CPU Miis,depending in which CPU the roulette lands,a unique Dice they get,here are the CPU Dices:

Hosted by Alphonse.The Players are in a Temple,and must play the Teamwork Minigames in order to advance,once they complete all 5 minigames in order to be succesful,if they lose 3 times,they lose,here are the requirements to beat the game:

Superhero Spazz:Beat the Robot with at least 1 life!
Button Crushers:Win at least 1 round!
Jump a Rope:Get at least 2 points!
Bake Sake:Bake before time finishes!
Ball Catcher:Get at least 5 points!

Paintball Shooter:[]

Hosted by Elianna, A Paintball mode where players are on a field and must shoot them, and the player that hits most times wins.

Players can move to areas where there are shields that protect them from being hit.

They must play minigames, depending on how well they made, more munities they get.

The Maximum of munities one can have are 5.

Minigames:[]

This mode is unlockable by winning every other mode, this mode is a recopilation of various things, such as Endless versions of 2/3/4 player minigames,or returning modes from Wii Party U.

Modes:

Spot the Sneak:This returning mode is the same,Hosted by Suzie.
Chess:This plays like normal chess,you can play with against a CPU or human player,the first player to take out the leader,wins.
Freeplay Superhero Spazz:It's an extended version,containing more enemies rather than a robot,the monsters the player can encounter are:
- A Griffin.
- A Powered-Up version of the Robot.
- Cerberus.
- The Dark Lord from Miitopia.

Minigame Temple:Players start off on a red carpet,and must play Minigames in order to progress to the throne.It has the same criteria of Minigame Battle.
Freeplay Cycling Pros:This mode is played by only one player,the player gains points by doing poses,however,if they fall,the game automatically ends.
Freeplay Tennis Menace:This mode is also played by only one player,it has the same criteria,instead,there are 10 rounds.
Freeplay Dojo Master:Now,Miis from the player's console will drop,and they must punch the Miis off,if they are punched out,it's over.

CPU[]

Some CPUs from WPU come back,but this time,difficulties are switched,in order to match with their skills in Wii Sports Club.
