Revision as of 23:56, 23 October 2021

Super Smash Bros. Destiny is the eighth title in the Super Smash Bros. series, released in 2030 for the Nintendo Switch 2 (erictom333). It is the direct sequel to Super Smash Bros. Combat (erictom333) and basically a complete revamp of that game.

Gameplaytabssbd Development

Super Smash Bros. Destiny was announced in the 2021 Spring Showcase alongside Fantendo Smash Bros. Destiny (erictom333), to TBA reception.

Gameplaytabssbd Gameplay

Super Smash Bros. Destiny is a platform fighter where up to 8 players battle as various characters from Nintendo and third-party series. Unlike conventional fighting games, the aim is not to deplete the opponent's health, but to knock them off the stage.

Gameplaytabssbd Menu

you can watch cutscenes and make ytps

Gameplaytabssbd Mechanics

  • Knockback: Almost all attacks knock fighters back.
  • Kinetic Damage: Launched fighters can deal damage and knockback to other fighters they hit. Some moves, such as Waluigi's Midair Swim, also incur kinetic damage.
  • Realistic Physics: When launched, fighters obey realistic physics: they are subject to gravity and air resistance. Air resistance varies by fighter.
  • Resitution: Launched fighters bounce off of platforms and walls. How much they bounce is determined by their speed, damage, and fighter.
  • Ragdoll Physics: When fighters are in a helpless state, ragdoll physics takes over and applies until the fighters get back up. Fighters in a ragdoll state have significantly decreased air resistance.

Some fighters have their own unique mechanics. These are listed under their moveset.

  • Rage: Fighters deal slightly more knockback at higher damage. Some fighters have more noticeable rage, while others have none.
  • Instant KO: Any fighter that takes 1000% damage is immediately KOed. Good luck getting that to happen!

Chartabssbd Fighters
