Description
Super Smash Bros. Confliction is the 6th Smash Bros. game to be released, After Super Smash Bros. For 3DS/Wii U. Much of its features are the same, but a few modes are added, like Smash RPG and Trophy Finder. It is the first Smash Bros. Game to be released for New 3DS (but not normal, 3DS XL, and 2DS) and the 2nd on the Wii U. It has more characters than any other Smash Bros. Game and almost every character from previous Smash Bros. games (Including costumes).
DLC
Like SSB4, this game's DLC is the same on the 3DS and the Wii U. Confliction's DLC comes in 12 characters, 16 stages (each with 5 to 15 soundtracks), 32 Mii fighter outfits and 20 soundtracks at $5.99 each. If you buy the 3DS version and pay extra, you will recieve a free download code for the Wii U, and vice versa.
Game Modes
Smash
The normal part in every SSB game. These modes are possible:
Time
Stock
Coin
Time Stock
Stamina (Now a normal smash mode)
Switch
For switch mode, each player chooses a set number of fighters (fighters can be picked multiple times in one round) and uses them in that order. When you run out of fighters in Time or Coin, you start from your first fighter again. You start as a random one of those fighters and switch to another figher that has not been used yet. This can be played in all Smash modes.
8-Player Smash (Wii U only)
Returning from SSBU, this can be played in all Smash modes. Some stages are restricted in normal and/or final destination form.
Classic
This is like the Wii U version of classic.
Smash Run
This mode is mostly the same, except that it is now also on Wii U. There are now 10 stages also a mode where you can create your own.
Smash Tour
This mode is mostly the same, except that is now also on 3DS. There are now 10 boards.
Target Blast
This mode is like the SSBU version.
Target Smash
Finally, this mode has been brought back! And so has...
The Subspace Emissary 2
The Subspace Emissary is a lot like the one from SSBB, but with a new map and story.
Story
The story starts In a floating sphere, somewhere in Subspace. Tabuu is inside it, looking down at a complex network of circuits. He has somehow came back to life after his first defeat. He then pulls a lever.
Dark energy starts to pulse through the circuits...
Meanwhile, Mario and Sonic, two famed "smashers" Are duking it out in the middle of a giant arena. This then lets you choose between Mario and Sonic, and depending on who you choose, you get to fight against the other one.
After you win, the crowd cheers loudly for you. Then, a black portal appears out of nowhere and you get sucked in, along with the loser.
In the portal, which leads to blackish-purple cube that you are inside, you see an army of primids, which you then must defeat one by one.
After you have defeated the primids, the portal begins to close up. Mario, being closest, runs in. Sonic runs toward it, but the portal then closes. A portal then opens from above and someone else drops in. They are later revealed to be Link.
Mario then comes back to the real world. He somehow winds up in a grassland in the middle of nowhere. He is then joined by Kirby.
