Super Smash Bros. Bizarre Infinity, also known as SSB Bizarre Infinity, SSB Bizarre I, SSBBInfinity, Super Smash Bros. BI, Super Smash Bros. 6, Super Smash Bros. 🙈🙊🙉♾ or SSB.BI is an upcoming installment in the highly successful Super Smash Bros. video game series, produced by the ever expanding hole in the basement of Toroko's headquarters. Super Smash Bros. Bizarre Infinity was produced for both The V² and the Nintendo Switch, releasing at a unknown time and date that seems to coincidentally line up with the Doomsday Clock. The game continues the unrealistic trend of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to bring back every character, as well as hosting one of the biggest amount of newcomers to date. Everybody's here! Whether they like it or not.

Gameplay

Super Smash Bros. Bizarre Infinity is much like the games before it, being a platform fighter. Unlike most traditional fighting games, where the clear win condition is to knock your opponent's health down to nothing before the timer runs out, the health bar racks up in percentages. The higher the percentage, the more punishing knockback is for the fighter when they get hit by an attack. Additionally, fighters can die when they get thrown off the stage. Typically a round of Super Smash Bros. relies on stock, but for bizarre reason Sakurai continues to have timed as default. Scientists are still uncertain as to why, perhaps for in-store demo kiosks? This trend continues, as timed is still the default.

Some of the bigger changes to Super Smash Bros. Bizarre Infinity include:

  • The game removed the Assist Trophy and Pokeball items. They are now replaced with an item called the Tag Barrel that sends a random fighter from the roster to assist you.
  • Some male characters have notably more defined and chiseled bodies, almost in a perverse way. Solid Snake's butt especially has gotten the biggest touch up compared to his flat butt in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
  • A new mechanic has been added called the Power Up System. By holding the shield button, characters charge an aura field around them to temporarily increase their attack power. However, the character will be extremely vulnerable when they do this. Held Shields are instead done with Shield + the Down input. Regular shields are replaced with a parry system that negates physical attacks, causing them to do no damage.
  • Another new mechanic has been added for the extremely rare condition that two very specific characters are on the same team and both have broken a Smash ball: Joint Final Smashes! These Final Smashes are even more powerful than regular Final Smashes, and they aren't even for all characters. Have fun trying to figure that all out on the first day, ProsafiaGaming!
  • You can now sacrifice a 50% chunk of your health to get more time on the clock in timed mode. You do this via a taunt + the attack button.
  • Pandora-620x
In team battles, if your team mate has over 200% health, you can sacrifice them via the taunt + the shield button to unleash Pandora Mode. In Pandora Mode, all attacks are buffed to 5x their normal state, but you have to clear off an opponent's stock before the 15 second timer runs out or you will instantly die. As you can imagine, this becomes incredibly tense at the end of a battle.
    • If two fighters activate Pandora Mode at the same time, they enter Pandora Rush mode, where the next hit decides the fate of the battle. One hit, you either win or lose the battle, stock and time be damned!
  • You can now complete objectives in Smash mode that will earn you coins or a trophy. These objectives are random and change every week, and you get 15 to complete. These are passive and are noted at the victory screen.
  • You can now sell duplicate trophies back for more coins, allowing you to spend them further on the Gacha Mode or other modes requiring coins.
  • Mother Earth joins the Brawl! Real-time weather system adds dynamic weather to every stage based off the location of the host of the game that you're playing with.
    • If it is raining, rain will prevent your fighter from being able to wall jump or climb on walls. Additionally, lightning will strike anything that's metal, so watch out if you have the metal box item on, if you happen to be playing as a robot, or use a metal sword.
    • If it is sunny, you're going to want to make sure the weather isn't too hot or your fighters might get sunburned and that'll really drain at your health!
    • If it is snowing, you'll want to keep your fighters warm so they don't catch a cold! Speaking of:
  • A brand new illness system has been added into the game, where if your fighter catches a cold or gets infected with a disease from another fighter but wins the match on the same stock that they caught the disease with, they'll carry that over into the next match until they get KO'd. Don't even think about switching to another fighter, as each match afterwards it'll spread out. Don't be patient zero!
  • Fighters can now perform Final Smash Fatalities when in Sudden Death! When the match ends in a sudden death, each fighter gets imbued with their Final Smash aura, allowing them to activate it one last time before the match ends!
  • Rage returns with a vengeance! When your fighter gets hurt, their attacks slowly build up in power, allowing you to knock back opponents further and further with the more damage you've accumulated. A new addition to this feature is the "Calm Down" motion that down taunts do, where if a opponent is near you, they can tap you on the shoulder and remove Rage you have built up. Additionally, moves that put you to sleep resets the Rage built up on your character. However, taunts from your opponent now add to Rage build up, so your opponent needs to be careful when they get too cocky!
  • A more free roaming camera that allows you to slap on stickers and various filters onto the action when paused, as well as giving you unreal control over the composition of your shots. You can tilt the camera, look underneath stages and characters, even pull the camera out enough to get the widest view the series has allowed yet.
  • Replays can now be directly posted to Youtube and players can speak into the microphone to add some shoddy commentary as the replay plays back.

Game Modes

Smash

The most straight-forward mode in the game, where you set up matches against AI opponents or other friends. You can also tap in amiibo to fight specialized amiibo fighters that learned how to counter your moves based off a neural network hidden in the ocean. You can set various rules, like how often items spawn, whether you want to play with stock, timed, or coin battles, or how much you want the game to play like Melee.

Special Smash

These extra rules allow persisting effects on your fighter, such as making them huge and tiny, whether they're always metal or invisible, and whether they consistently take damage. You'll check out this mode for five minutes and never come back to it.

Story Mode: Magniloquent Symphony

Story Mode makes a comeback in the form of Magniloquent Symphony. The story is fairly simple and tells the tale of Mario, who comes the Mushroom Kingdom, who goes to Gasoom, the poisonous planet of the Pharks. There he meets the dinglefingerer Meta Shang, the brother of Meta Knight, who's real name is Meta Krang. Meta Krang goes to fight Meta Shang with the Halberd, but the Dingo Dongos stop him with their Grangezas and so Mario has to enlist the help of Meta Shang's daughter named Thalia Shang and defeat Meta Shang with the power of the plombuu. But, the plombuu is being frangled by the kradengle so our heroes, Fango, Manoge, and Zippkepo the Teridere have to use the heliboo to doddle out the babanuggle. In turrn, they awake the Grango Banfo Vaenro and have to use Magoge's secret quevier to unleash the Stendog EIFUS.

This story mode will never even be finished, let alone started. So, don't even worry.

Gacha Machine

This gacha machine will take the coins you earned from the other modes and spit out a random trophy or a unlockable character that will join the roster. You cannot buy more coins with real money to possibly speed up the process. This is the only way to unlock things reliably.

Playable Characters

Super Smash Bros. Bizarre Infinity has all the characters from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate return, in addition to a whopping new round of newcomers. Since I can't think of any way to improve characters that rank low on the tier lists or think to nerf any of them, all veterans all play identically to how they did in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with no differences.

All 8 of the original cast from Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64 are unlocked from the start, requiring you to unlock every single other character. One of the biggest differences that Super Smash Bros. Bizarre Infinity adds to character selection is that unlockable characters are all unlocked randomly in the first "wave" of fighters. This can happen at any time, so watch out! A second wave of fighters is unlocked after you unlock all the fighters from the first unlockable wave, which have their very specific unlock conditions.

Starting Characters

Mario SSBUltimate
Mario
SSB Mario Series

SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Fireball
Mario throws a fireball at the ground, which bounces before puffing out of existence. If you manage to hit anyone with this limp attack, it'll do 5%-4% damage.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Cape
Mario waves a cape in front of him, which reverses the direction of his opponent while dealing light damage. It also reflects projectiles.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Super Jump Punch
An uppercut attack that causes coins to fly out of the opponent like they're a coin block. Does some damage but leaves Mario in a free fall state afterwards. Mario's only recovery move.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 F.L.U.D.D.
Mario still has this move? Really? Okay...
Mario takes out F.L.U.D.D. and sprays opponents with water, which knocks them back while doing no damage.
FinalSmashSymbol Mario Finale
How are we still doing Mario Finale? Seriously?
Mario unleashes a twin set of giant fireballs that fires across the stage.

Yoshi SSBU
Yoshi
SSB Yoshi Series

SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Egg Lay
Yoshi sticks out his tongue and if a opponent is near him, he'll... how is the best way to word this? Swallow them? Engulf them whole? Vore them? Fuck. Well, if he does that, a egg will pop out, and how much time they spend in the egg determines their damage. Better button mash out!
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Egg Roll
Yoshi forms a giant egg around himself and rolls quickly across the ground, doing damage to anyone he makes contact with.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Egg Throw
Yoshi forms an egg and throws it at his opponent to deal damage. He can do this multiple times in a row to gain some air.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Yoshi Bomb
Yoshi drops straight down to the ground, basically ground pounding. Fun fact, this is the only Yoshi special move not to involve a egg.
FinalSmashSymbol Super Dragon
Yoshi flies around while breathing fire when you press the attack button. When he lands, he creates mini earthquakes.

DonkeyKong SSBUltimate
Donkey Kong
SSB Donkey Kong Series

SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Giant Punch
Donkey Kong's hand gets real big, right? And this is while he punches. So, you can probably put the two and two together. He does a lot of damage.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Headbutt
Donkey Kong can headbutt opponents with his head. Good for meteor smashes and has superarmor, so this Kong won't even flinch while doing it.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Spinning Kong
Donkey Kong rapidly spins with his arms outstretched, dealing multiple clothesline attacks. You'd be surprised at how effective it is as a recovery move.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Hand Slap
Donkey Kong slaps the ground, causing earth piercing shocks to register across the ground while making obnoxious noises.
FinalSmashSymbol Lots of Punches
Look, even the Smash wiki isn't sure what Donkey Kong's final smash in Ultimate is. You take your best guess.
Donkey Kong slams into his opponent with a barrage of punches before finally punching them far away.

SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Traveler's Bow
Link fires off an arrow. Can be charged to do more damage. You're locked in place as soon as you charge it, so I hope you don't get punished, like right away when you do it.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Boomerang
Link tosses a boomerang projectile in front of him, which then comes back to him.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Spin Attack
Link spins around in the air with his sword. Slows his descent, kind of.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Remote Bomb Rune
Link lays down a bomb and then can detonate it whenever he feels like it, dealing some nice damage when it goes off.
FinalSmashSymbol Ancient Bow and Arrow
Link uses an Ancient Arrow to fire off a devastating 1-hit kill attack! Basically... Zelda's Final Smash.

Samus SSBUltimate
Samus
SSB Metroid Series

SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Charge Shot
Samus charges up a energy shot and can fire it off whenever, really. It doesn't really matter that much. It's not like you're EVER going to hit anyone with that fully charged shot, and if you do, it's not like you do enough damage to actually matter.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Missile
Samus shoots a homing missile. I say "homing", but like, this thing really doesn't actually home that well into opponents. Oh, and if you tap instead of tilt, you get super missiles that do 10% damage instead. They don't home, just fire straight forward.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Screw Attack
Samus somersaults into the air, surrounding herself in a bluish electrical aura that deals damage. But not enough. The horizontality of this move is kind of not great? So keep that in mind.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Bomb
Samus lays a bomb that lingers for a bit before going off. If an opponent touches it, it'll do some decent damage to them.
FinalSmashSymbol Zero Laser
Samus unleashes a super powerful laser that shoots out in a giant beam, demolishing anyone in the path of her.

Kirby SSBU
Kirby
SSB Kirby Series

SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Inhale
Kirby opens up his mouth and sucks in opponents near them, carrying them in his mouth. He can then choose to swallow them, which releases them near him and gives him a neat little hat and the neutral move of the swallowed victim. He could also just spit them out, but come on. You want the hat.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Hammer Flip
Kirby takes hold of a hammer and horizontally swings it forwards to deal some nice damage. You can charge it up to do additional damage.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Final Cutter
Kirby ascends high into the air and then comes crashing down with a sword. It sends out a blue projectile just in case the initial attack wasn't getting the job done.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Stone
Kirby transforms into stone... or other various Nintendo objects. He has almost 100 different things he can transform into but all of them act the same; Kirby jumps into the air, turns into stone, and can ground pound into opponents.
FinalSmashSymbol Ultra Sword
Kirby creates a giant sword and slashes at characters multiple times, ending with a giant powerful slash. Despite how damaging it sounds, it really only does 40% damage.

Fox SSBUltimate
Fox
SSB Star Fox Series

SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Blaster
Fox shoots a pink beam from his blaster, which deals weak damage and has a short range. This is because he was so overpowered in Melee where that beam was far more damaging and had greater range, but it's still kind of decent for following up into a throw.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Fox Illusion
Fox darts forwards with incredible speed, which causes an afterimage effect and hurts any enemies in his path. It does little damage, but at very high damages it'll launch. We gotta give Fox something.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Fire Fox
Fox burns up with fire around him and then launches upwards. The attack can be aimed, which can assist in recovery. The attack does a lot of damage if you manage to hit with both the charge up and the attack launch itself.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Reflector
Fox can reflect projectiles quickly using his Reflector, which come back even stronger. It can also do low damage to nearby opponents.
FinalSmashSymbol Airwing Assault
Fox teleports the user into a cutscene where he shoots at them with his Airwing. It's... no Landmaster, that's for sure.

Pikachu SSBUltimate
Pikachu
SSB Pokémon Series

SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Thunder Jolt
Pikachu drops a sphere of electricity diagonally downwards, which can deal medium damage as it falls. If it lands on a surface, it turns into an arcing wave of electricity that hops along the terrain's surface and deals slightly less damage.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Skull Bash
Pikachu kind of just does a flying headbutt, which does some knockback. Still... Skull Bash. That's a really metal name. It can be charged up to do nearly 30% damage.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Quick Attack
An aimable attack that gets Pikachu high into the air, almost making him look like he's teleporting around as he quickly zips around.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Thunder
Pikachu summons a strain of thunder to his location, zapping nearby opponents with it. There's also a large shockwave that occurs, increasing the range of the attack.
FinalSmashSymbol Volt Tackle
Pikachu turns into a giant electrical ball and swoops around to damage opponents. Just kind of a lamer Super Sonic...

Green Mario EchoFighterSymbol

Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Icy F.L.U.D.D.
Fire Mario takes out F.L.U.D.D. and sprays opponents with an icy mist, which encases them in ice. He can then throw the cubed opponent to deal 15% damage.
FinalSmashSymbol Ice Mario Finale
Ice Mario unleashes a quadruple set of giant iceballs that fires across the stage, turning opponents into cubed ice you can throw to inflict 15% damage.

SigmarioBI
Sigmario EchoFighterSymbol
SSB Mario Series
SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Gatling Shadowballs
Sigmario fires a rapid assault of purple fireballs forward, five in total. They do only 4% damage, but Sigmario can launch more than Mario and is even quicker to launch another round of fireballs.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Black Tornado
Sigmario unleashes a tornado-like move that reverses the gravity of his opponent for a moment while also poisoning them. Cannot reflect projectiles.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Teleport Jump Punch
Sigmario pauses and then teleports to the nearest opponent to perform a jump punch, which shoots out purple coins instead of gold star coins. The main difference is that Sigmario's allows him to teleport within a certain range, although it is always tied to an opponent.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Shadow F.L.U.D.D.
Sigmario takes out F.L.U.D.D. and sprays opponents with goop, which acts similar to ink in that it will increase the damage that opponents take with further attacks.
FinalSmashSymbol Realmus Chop
Sigmario chops the stage with a purple katana, which reverses the direction of the stage's gravity except for his own, causing opponents to fly up into the blast zone. They can try and delay their ascension with recovery moves as Sigmario laughs.
FinalSmashSymbolFinalSmashSymbolOpposite Shadow Bros.
Sigmario locks arms with Vuigi and unleashes a parade of black balloons that pop into black holes. Vuigi also is in the background, massive, and swipes at opponents to deal damage.

Luigi SSBUltimate
Luigi
SSB Mario Series
SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Green Fireball
Luigi fires off a green fireball that bobs up and down, never touching the ground. They're slightly faster and less damaging than Mario's. It also still makes the same orange particle effect that Mario's fireballs for some goddamn reason.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Luigi Missile
Luigi launches himself off like a rocket for... reasons. He can charge up the move to do even more damage. It's effective and can be done in the air.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Fire Jump Punch
Luigi's version of the Super Jump Punch has a huge sourspot that just does 1% damage and doesn't even make the opponent flinch. However, if you connect at the start of the animation, it does way more damage than Mario's ever did.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Luigi Cyclone
Luigi spins around with his arm, connecting twice before unleashing both arms. At the end of the animation, there's a hitbox that allows Luigi to spike. It can also be used to recover, but not effectively.

0.3.CSSB Wa Luigi Artwork
Purple Luigi EchoFighterSymbol
SSB Mario Series

Purple Luigi fires off a purple fireball that just drops straight to the ground, exploding. This actually does quite a bit of damage, but it's range is pitiful.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Purple Luigi Missile
Purple Luigi launches himself off like a missile, swimming in the air as he homes onto foes and bites them on the head, acting like a leech to drain their health to replenish his own.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 High Jump Punch
Purple Luigi's version of the Super Jump Punch has a huge sourspot that just does 1% damage and doesn't even make the opponent flinch. You have to sweet spot it on the very tip of the knuckles to knock the opponent high into the air, dealing massive damage.

Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Vuigi Cyclone
Vuigi spins around with his arm, connecting twice before folding his arms in and falling over like he's dead. At the end of the animation, there's a hitbox on Vuigi's fall animation that deals 15% damage. The clotheslining attack does 5% damage.

Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Pound
Pound is a quick, short-ranged punch that sends Jigglypuff forward a short distance. Keep doing this and Jigglypuff will keep going forward, essentially punching themselves forward across the stage while dealing damage to anyone in their way.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Sing
Sing puts characters nearby to sleep, allowing Jigglypuff to follow up with another attack. For characters it can't hurt with it's dreadful notes, it just deals damage instead.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Rest

FinalSmashSymbol Puff Up
Jigglypuff turns really big in one of the worst Final Smashes in the entire game. It's so easy to avoid and it doesn't even really do enough damage to be considered punishing. Come on, ya'll.

Wigglytuff BI
Wigglytuff EchoFighterSymbol
SSB Pokémon Series
SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Relentless Rollout
Wigglytuff holds in it's limbs and rolls out, continuing to roll around even after they hit a opponent. Normally this would stop it's original fighter, Jigglypuff, but Wigglytuff will just keep going and can reverse their direction, spinning across the stage as it does damage.

Wigglytuff unleashes a flurry of fists as it slides across the ground, allowing it to do more damage than Jigglypuff.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Spinphony

Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Wakie Wakie
Wigglytuff falls asleep, but only for half of the time that Jigglypuff does. When it wakes up, an explosion around it occurs, blasting and doing damage to opponents nearby. It's harder to get a reliable hit on it since it's so telegraphed, but it'll do about the same amount of damage that Sleep does.
FinalSmashSymbol Moonblast
Wigglytuff unleashes a white-blue ball onto the opponent and deals some heavy damage. It also decreases the damage that the opponents do with their special attacks for a short time.

IgglybuffBI

Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Leaping Rest

DrGreninja SSBUltimate
Dr. Greninja
SSB Pokémon Series
SpecialMoves
Ext3 0e1 Water Syringe
Throws a syringe made of water. It is chargeable, but its charge cannot be held indefinitely. Additionally, charging the move noticeably increases its power, but reduces its speed and range. Lot of lag. You should know that because he is the slowest at everything.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d6 Shadow Sneak
Silently prepares to teleport to a moving shadow, which activates when either attack button is released. The shadow moves relative to Dr. Greninja's position, and while it is being prepared, Dr. Greninja can't do anything. Not that he would be, anyway, given how slow this guy is. Lots of lag.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 Hydro Pump
Shoots two streams of water from one of its hands in the opposite direction of travel, propelling Dr. Greninja in the input directions. Can push opponents and deals 2% damage, which is more than fuckin' FLUDD. Lots of lag. His tanky shape makes this move ultra powerful.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 Subsitute
Assumes a defensive stance. If attacked, Dr. Greninja disappears and counterattacks while leaving a plush doll or a giant blood bag in its place before counterattacking with a flying kick upon reappearing. The kick's direction can be inputted while Dr. Greninja has vanished. Too much damn lag.
FinalSmashSymbol Secret Doctor Attack
Launches opponents into the air with an Mat Block. It then proceeds to slash them several times in midair while a blood moonlit backdrop appears, and then finally spikes them down to the stage with a downward scalpel strike. Deals 130% damage.

Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d1 PK Thunder
Ness releases a thunder projectile that is controlled by the player once it's active. He can also do this in the air, slowing his descent as the player frantically tries to move the projectile back to him to blast him back into the air as some kind of demented recovery move.
Ext3 0e1 Ext3 0d2 PSI Magnet
Playing against a opponent that likes to spam projectiles? Ness can just put up this shield and collect the projectiles to replenish his health.
FinalSmashSymbol PK Starstorm
Ness unleashes a bunch of comets onto his foes, able to direct it to sweep it across the stage.
