Super Princess Peach II: Shaken Emotions is a sequel to Super Princess Peach for the Nintendo Wii.

Game Modes

Story Mode

In Story Mode only one player can play and Princess Peach is the only playable character. Story Mode includes a map of each area like the first game, but is more similar to Super Mario Bros. 3's. Story Mode includes more enemies and levels than the first game, and during the levels, the player can search for Puzzle Pieces and Music Notes to complete puzzles in the Puzzle Room and get Band Members for the Band Room respectively in Extras Mode. The player also must find three Toads in each level (much like the last game). A new thing in the game is that Toad Shops appear throughout the map, not in Extras Mode this time. Another thing that reappears is the fact that if the player defeats an enemy, it will be added to the Glossary in Extras Mode. Also, Mario is still the damsel in distress in the game and must be saved by Peach.

Multiplayer Mode

During Multiplayer Mode, four players can play at the same, much like New Super Mario Bros. Wii. However, this Multiplayer Mode can not be used in Story Mode. EEA Inc. said that the reason is because this game is having a more complex storyline than New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and went in Multiplayer Mode, each character (Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, and Toadette) has a different color of Perry, depending on which character it is, which would effect the storyline a lot. The levels in Multiplayer Mode are all the ones that the player has unlocked in Story Mode.

Extras Mode

Extras Mode is available on Story Mode. It consists of the Puzzle Room, the Band Room, and the Glossary. The Puzzle Room consists of eight puzzles, one for each world. Puzzle Pieces are found in Story Mode throughout different levels. The Band Room consists of many tunes from Story Mode. The tunes can be bought at the Toad Shops but the player must collect Music Notes in Story Mode to unlock more band members. The band members consist of Peach, Toadsworth, Daisy, Rosalina, and Toadette (Toads of different colors can be seen in the crowd). Every time the player defeats an enemy or boss, it is added to the Glossary. The Glossary has a short description of every enemy and boss in the game.

Story

The Storyline begins with a prologue, telling how Princess Peach defeated Bowser in Super Princess Peach and tells a bit of Perry's story as well. The prologue reveals that when Peach defeated Bowser on Vibe Island, the powerful Vibe Scepter fell into the sea and sunk into an underwater volcano. The power of the scepter caused the volcano to erupt, creating a new island called New Vibe Island. The power of the Vibe Scepter helped things grow on the island. Bowser and the Koopa Troop hear about this island, and invade it. Bowser soon finds the Vibe Scepter and sends Kamek to kidnap Peach. This leads Mario, Luigi, Perry, and a group of Toads to come to rescue Peach. Bowser uses the Vibe Scepter to brainwash Mario, Luigi, and the Toads. Perry is able to save Peach from Kamek, who he remembers as one of the strange beings that turned him into an umbrella. Outside Magmania Fortress, Kamek shoots Peach and Perry out of a cannon to Joystruck Meadows, where Peach starts her quest. Peach soon finds the boss of Joystruck Meadows, Army Hammer Bro. The angry Hammer Bro. is powered up by Kamek but is defeated easily by Peach and Perry, revealing Luigi's cage. After successfully traveling though all the worlds up to Fluffbound Skies, Peach meets up with Kamek, who uses his wand to enlarge Toad to mega size. After defeating Kamek, Peach saves Toad and Perry makes Kamek tell where his grandpa is. Kamek reveals that he is in Magmania Fortress as a prisoner, before Kamek falls off the cloud he is on. Peach travels to Magmania Fortress and defeats the Koopalings. Peach then finds Bowser Jr. guarding Bowser's room. after he is also defeated, Peach enters Bowser's room. She then finds Bowser and battles him. Bowser uses the Vibe Scepter to make the battle even harder. After a long hard battle, Bowser is finally defeated and is shot back to the Mushroom Kingdom from a cannon. Peach and Mario are than reunited. The secret levels are then revealed and Peach and Peach start a new search for Perry's grandpa. On the last secret level of the game, Perry and his grandpa are finally reunited. Since Bowser is gone from the island, Peach gets to rename the island and she names is Perry Island, after Perry. Perry is then transformed back into a boy and is left with his grandpa to live on the island. Peach, Mario, Luigi, and the Toads return to the Mushroom Kingdom and the credits roll.

Worlds

Other than Magmania Fortress which has three bosses, each of the eight worlds has one boss. In Magmania Fortress, a Koopaling mini-boss appears in every level of the world except the final boss level and the three secret levels that appear in every world (which are unlocked by beating the world's boss).
