Super Mario Remaster is a City-building app published by Nintendo. It allows the player to create their own Mushroom Kingdom using similar characters and buildings. The game is available for iOS and Android devices

The mechanics of the game seem similar to The Simpsons: Tapped Out, Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, SpongeBob Moves In! and Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow

Gameplay

The game is a city-builder, the in-game currency are the Coins . While premium items in the game can be purchased with Red Coins that can be purchased with real-life currency. Buildings and the Quests are used for the in-game progress. Every character in the game has a list of the tasks that they can do, when they finish the task, Coins are earned.

In the beginning, the player automatically unlocks Luigi

At some months, events for the game can also happen, mostly the holidays or based of events that happened in various Mario installments. When an event is happening, the application has to be updated to the latest version.

Story

While Luigi is struggling with his plumbing job, he tries to fix a pipe, but the screw is too heavy to be taken off, so Luigi is thinking and he has an idea, he finds a Bob-omb, he puts it near the pipe to make it explode, the Bob-omb explodes, but the pipe reveals to be a nuclear pipe, Luigi sees the mistake and he admits that he messed up, resulting into a destruction in the Mushroom Kingdom, Luigi then wakes up with the whole Mushroom Kingdom empty, and Luigi starts to try to rebuild it.

The characters in the game form a category which references their behaviour, personality and their roles in the installments, they are mostly unlocked when placing a building which is usually owned by the character, when you collect all the characters from a category, you'll get rewarded.
