Trivia[]

  • Unlike various other stages present in Galactic Battle, Sunset Bay has gained a major HD upgrade and now appears to be situated in a Beach surrounded by a Marina complete with many boats.
    • Notably, this upgrade is original to Galactic Battle, as the design for Sunset Bay has never appeared within the Wave Race series.
  • Despite there only being four racers present within Wave Race 64, various characters from Wave Race: Blue Storm make cameos racing through the stage, including notably Miles Jeter, who was the only playable character from Wave Race 64 to be absent in Wave Race: Blue Storm.
