The Star Rod is a powerful rod that debuted in Dry Bones Party 8. It packs some serious power. When used in Superstar Battle, it lowers Mario's HP by 1 point. After 20 hits, the Purple Frenzy, which debuts in this game, eats up Mario and his Mario Car. It also appears in Dry Bones Party 9 and Dry Bones Party 10, where it is used again to battle Mario in his Mario Car. In Dry Bones Party 9, Mario gets sucked into the Violet Void, but in Dry Bones Party 10, it gets back to Mario being eaten by the Purple Frenzy.
