SPOOKY SCARY FANTENDO SHOWCASE

Welcome to the Illusion Works Spooky Scary Fantendo Showcase. We're going to begin with a discussion surrounding a new logo of ours.

Styled Aquarius Logo

Project Aquarius. Recently, while redoing most of our older video game titles, we found there was one thing that we never came around to regenerating, the Pacifico.

The Pacifico has been a great achievement for us, but it is nearly two years old since the initial release of the console, and we figured that since everything else is being remodelled and remade by us, why not rejuvenate the Pacifico as well?

Aquarius Console Prototype

Here is a very rough prototype image for the console. We've brought back the physical disc-input, something we ditched on the previous console. Our console will have a feature button, which can act as a power button or eject button. Additionally, it uses voice recognition to either eject a game disc or to power on/off the console. The main face also has the Aquarius logo, and the time, just in case you don't have a clock nearby!

Now, for the new bar at the bottom of the console. We like to call that the Quick Start bar. 15 of your games can be featured on this bar, and by taping on them, you can quickly open them as soon as the console powers on. This Quick Start bar will hopefully be a helping hand to getting your favourite games as soon as possible.

There is another first that the Aquarius will perform. You can play any Disc-based games on it, even if they aren't exclusively released for the Aquarius. For example, you can play games from the Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. We're hoping to continue this feature for any new disc-based consoles that may release.

We also have a prototype for the controller that will come boxed in the console.

Equinoxic Controller Prototype

Here is the very rough prototype for the Aquarius controller. It works very similar to the old Pacifico controller, however there are now integrated buttons on the face of it. Following from the direction of the previous controller, these buttons are completely customizable. You can use the "ABYX" formation or "Triangle/Square/Circle/Cross", depending on which you prefer. They will light up through LEDs in the controller, making it easy to know which button is which. The controller will have a 4K HD display, and other amplifying features to increase quality.

We're planning on implementing additional bumpers and pedals like with the previous controller as well, which will also be fully customizable through packs which you can buy separately.

The console will retain the 4K HD performance as well as 60 frames per second. Our OS is getting a major overhaul, and will perform much faster with a simpler and more customizable interface. The console will also be receiving Virtual Reality support, something which the Pacifico failed to deliver. Most unreleased video games for the Pacifico will now be transferred to the new console, including Empire, Dimensional Destruction and Super Smash Bros. Equinox, among others.

While features may change while the console is being worked on, we're hoping for a 2017/2018 release window for the console, however, depending on our vision it may change.

Eclipse The Glass Moon

Introducing a brand new IP, Eclipse. You may have ever asked yourself, "I wonder what it would be like if the Pokemon series restarted?", well this game is the answer to that. Eclipse: The Glass Moon is our attempt at a pocket monsters-like game, featuring a wide and varied roster of average and mythical beasts, as you become the best trainer you can possibly become.

The entire type system is revisited, with some types being removed and some being added. Moves the beasts use in the game will have more depth, and the entire system on how they work will be revolutionised.

You can find more details on the page Eclipse: The Glass Moon when it is created. The title will be exclusive to the Aquarius, however we cannot reveal a release date yet.

Fantendo Fantasy

Another new game of ours, Fantendo - Fantasy. Fantasy will be non-canonical to the Fantendoverse, but will still be a major game regardless. It is inspired by the Animal Crossing series, as the game focuses on you being the President of a new planet, and you must build a new civilisation for residents to live on. Also similar to the SimCity series, you will be required to complete quests from many different characters in the Fantendoverse to convince them to move onto your new planet.

These quests will vary in difficulty, some requiring you to build a specific house for the character, specific recreational buildings, or other specific requirements. Your planet will develop immensely as time passes, as well as the people. The Fantendoverse cast will be very excited to see their new homes on the planet!

Fantendo - Fantasy will be released for the Aquarius as well as some other consoles very soon.

Born Again Logo

Another new IP, Born Again. Born Again is a fighting MOBA. Inspired by Heroforce, It will feature a rather large roster of characters, all with unique moves, abilities, and fighting styles, who have been previously killed in their lives. In the afterlife, they are selected to participate in a tournament where the winner is given a second chance at life.

We're very excited to work on this project. The cast will (hopefully) be hand-drawn by myself, and we're hoping to reveal the first few characters as soon as possible. Born Again will be released on the Aquarius, at an unknown date.

Please tune in next time, at the Fantendo Holiday Showcase 2016, as we discuss further plans in the video game industry, as well as a very special announcement regarding 2017. We hope you enjoyed this little preview of our upcoming content, and hope you enjoy what we have to offer soon!
