Mechanics[]
- Parry: This defensive move allows characters to completely negate damage from any attack or projectile (except for super moves), It can also leave a small window of invincibility upon activation. However, they're very hard to pull off specially if it's continous
- Ink Factor (Now or Never Boost): Like the name implies, Ink Factor is a technique that allows a Character/characters to boost their strength and speed. Ink Factor is represented by a small ink tank above the Character's health bar and upon activation it will start to drain until it dryes out. It can only be used once per match and is usually use as a last resort to win.
- Special gauge: the Special gauge is a long bar that shows the amount of percentage they have to perform a super move. It's stylized to look like an ink meter that fills everytime you attack or defend, it can also recharge manually by imputting a certain command, but it leave you vulnerable for a couple of seconds. It has over 8 levels with each bar having a different ink color.
- Special Moves: A special move is a very powerful attack that any character can do upon performing a certain input. Each character has 3 or 2 different Special moves.

- Special Move Combination: A Special Move Combination is a variation of a Special Move where 2 or 3 characters unite their strength to deliver a devastating attack. To pull this off, you'll need to fill up the Special Gauge to its entirety and keep the characters required alive, every move is a guaranteed insta-kill and if the opponent has a full healthbar, it will reduce it to a 95%.
