Weapons

New Weapons

Name Info
Stamphammer these large melee weapons are built in the shape of warhammers with an Ink Stamp attached to the front. Although they are slow and rather low range they have a fair bit of coverage and will squash any and all opponents!
Splatcans Often used by hooligans and rollerskaters, these lightweight weapons have to be charged up by shaking them before letting out a burst stream of ink.
Ink Flooder modified from Morayling's tech to use ink instead of water, these Ink Flooders are back-mounted cannons capable of firing streams of ink. Although the damage is nothing to sneeze at and it has a large supply of ink the recoil is tremendous and users can find it hard to manuever when firing.
Splatterguns modified from Jawling's weaponry to better fit the smaller inklings, Splatterguns are powerful all-around close-range weapons thanks to their unique loading mechanism of Shells which allow you to fire off 6 powerful cannisters of ink before reloading from your ink supply.
Inkvolver These large rifles are accurate and deadly thanks to their inclusion of the Shells mechanism. Unlike the similar Splattergun however the Inkvolver fires singular shots of Ink that fly forward vertically. It is rather accurate like the Chargers but its extremely slow shell reload puts it at a disadvantage in the heat of battle.
Inkfumer A variant on the Splatcans most notable for firing ink in gas form. The cloud of gas it fires will linger for a bit, damaging enemies ,before falling down as liquid ink.
Splatterbuss An old-fashioned turf war weapon retooled for the modern ages! Splatterbusses fire large orbs of ink in a straight line before exploding over a large area. It's shell has to be reloaded every time it fires making it a slow but powerful gun.

They're basic

Inklings are the basic race in Splatoon returning from the previous 2 titles. They are a competitive species with a love of turf wars and a long-standing rivalry with the Octarians. In-game Inklings serve as both a middleground between the other 2 races and also a good choice for beginners to the game or shooters in general

JawlingGirl

JawlingBoy

Rambunctuous and rowdy, the Jawlings are similar to the inklings except they descended from Sharks instead of Squids. They have learnt how to swim through ink in the same way their ancestors swam through water. Jawlings are good for more aggressive players thanks to their melee attacks and general ability to get in enemy's faces.

Jawlings

(+) Move faster when swimming in ink and deal contact damage

(-) Take more damage when in enemy ink and are always visible in shark mode due to fin.
