Sonic the Hedgehog: The Underground Series is a series starring Sonic the Hedgehog who is facing Dr. Eggman who has an army of Primids, Robot Sonic Badniks, BuzzBombers and Giant Robots with the aid of 9 evil mercenaries whom Sonic knew before.
Sympnosis[]
Sonic the Hedgehog has been facing Eggman for a while, but he was not prepared for Dr. Eggman's big invasion of Mobotroplis so that the evil Doctor wont have to take over the world again after the Sonic Force's comotion. Dr. Eggman after a previous encounter with Shadow the Hedgehog and his girlfriend Shade the Hedgehog and pal Solarestro the Cosmic resulted in having to get Metal Sonic back with having to hire 8 bounty hunters who are Metal Sonic's comrades whom are known as Infinite, Nack the Weasel, Bark the Polar Bear, Bean the Dynamite, Aeon the Hedgehog, Nail the Hedgehog, Zett the Ram and a female Anamorphic Echidna named Valkyree. Sonic after being put down by Eggman's minions runs away to get stronger so he can beat them.
As a result Eggman's henchmen Sleet and Dingo catch Sonic while they were driving a Eggmobile Raptor Jet. Sonic falls into the water and only his shoes come out as the city in Christmas Island burns in flames with giant robots that resemble the SWATbots from Sonic Underground destroy the city as refugee citizens weep and cry in dispair because they lost their hero and their hope. Six weeks later Dr. Eggman has taken over the world and turned it into a place of terror ruled by Eggman himself, and enforced by his robot and mercenary armies.
Meanwhile Sonic the Hedgehog is found in a city that is an exact replica of an Asian Tropical city known as Maiya which is on an tropical island of Urban origin. Sonic wakes up in a run down house near the beach and port and meets his childhood pal Mighty the Armidilo and a girl named Mana the Hedgehog. Sonic makes the two his new friends since Sonic now hates his old friends Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Chocola because Sonic felt like they abandoned him for that new hero and they completely vanished. Later on Sonic finds out on the news that Vector, Espio, Charmy, Knuckles, Shadow, Shadow's girlfriend Shade and Solarestro have been kidnaped by Dr. Eggman's goons and are about to be robotocized as slaves.

- Sonic the Hedgehog - The world's fastest thing alive and the savior of the world. Sonic was thought to be dead after fighting a gang of mercenaries hired by Dr. Eggman. He is actually alive and fighting Eggman's goons with his childhood friend Mighty the Armidillo and new girlfriend Mana the Hedgehog.
- Mana the Hedgehog - Sonic's new girlfriend who is an anamorphic hedgehog girl who wears a silver tiara with green emeralds, she has large cyan bangs, long spiky and slender black and cyan hair and black fur with green eyes. she wears a black picoat dress with a white skirt under it with black legs and black and white boots. She is a kind and caring person although she can be gruff.
- Mighty the Armidillo - Sonic's old childhood friend whom he used to have fun with. Mighty was part of the Chaotix which resulted in the Chaotix in joining the resistance. Mighty is the muscle of the trio.
Antagonists[]
- Dr. Eggman - The Main antagonist of the series and the evil supreme leader of the Eggman Empire which conists of 10 merceanaries and an army of evil robots. He has an IQ of 300 and is a maniac psycho who loves to terrorize everyone.
- Orbot - one of Dr. Eggman's lackeys who is a loyal genius who likes Dr. Eggman and always does his best to impress Eggman. He's usually silent and does not talk.
- Cubot - another of Dr. Eggman's lackeys who is a disloyal sassy nincompoop who likes Dr. Eggman, but he drives Eggman crazy even getting his voice chip damaged.
- Radar - An evil oval headed robot with a right arm with a hand, left arm with a large insect arm and a leg with a tenticle with red eyes and a point on his oval head. Radar is more loyal to Eggman than Orbot and his really serious about his job. Radar would even be rude to Orbot and Cubot demanding them to get to work.
- The Mauderers - Evil Mercenaries employed by Dr. Eggman to take down his old enemies.
- Valkyre the Echidna - A female Echidna Sorceress who is in service of Dr. Eggman. Valkyre has light blue dreadlocks with cyan bangs which are octopus tentacles, she wears a jester's hat that is violet and lavander and has a phantom mask thats the same colors.
- Infinite - The infamous black anamorphic Jackal who served Dr. Eggman as the leader of his robot army in the game Sonic Forces. He is powered with the evil mystical phantom ruby.
- Nack the Weasel - An anamorphic weasel mercenary who served Dr. Eggman in the game Sonic Triple Trouble. Nack now becomes a Mauderer to fight off Sonic once again to get revenge.
- Bark the Polar Bear - A Anamorphic Polar Bear mercenary who is a member of the Mauderers. He is a brutal and tough guy.
- Bean the Dynamite - A green anamorphic duck mercenary who loves to use bombs and to attack people.
- Aeon the Hedgehog - A gray anamorphic hedgehog who has spiked hair that goes the same direction as his face with lime green lines. He has green eyes and wears greenish black boots and is armed with a arm gun. He is a member of the Mauderers.
- Nail the Hedgehog - A black anamorphic hedgehog who has two black bangs each beside his face with really long and jaggid spikes with a red scar over his left eye. He is a member of the Mauderers
- Metal Sonic - The robot warrior made by Dr. Eggman to be Sonic's clone. Metal Sonic is a mercenary member of the Mauderers who wants to just be done serving his maker and be a mercenary and kill people.
- Zett the Ram - An gray amamorphic ram who has the exact same face of a anamorphic hedgehog who has ram horns. Zett wears a black T-Shirt with gray shorts and boots. He used to be in a singing group until he was rejected after an afair with the Class president of the evil forces school he attended. Now he is a mauderer serving Eggman.
- Sleet - A wolf mercenary who wants to hunt down Sonic and get the favor of Dr. Eggman again. He is a wolf with gray fur, orange eyes, red body armor and blue-purple cape and boots and a black bounty hunter suit with a yellow emblem. Sleet is a cruel, cunning and ruthless leader of Eggman's forces.
- Dingo - Sleet's idiotic partner who loves to beat up people and get paid by Dr. Eggman. Dingo a large, orange-brown, muscular dingo with green eyes and yellow hair (although it is green in the comic), and wears green shorts, purple glasses, brown gloves, a brown belt with a silver buckle, and a gold earring. He speaks with a stereotypical Australian accent. His left leg also appears to be mechanical.
- Badniks - Eggman's robots and the forces of his evil army of doom.
- Primids - Evil Androids who serve as the basic foot soldiers of the Eggman Army. They attack with a multitude of attacks involving their fists, feet, and body. The Primids also have the ability to jump to other platforms and areas. Primids are a generally low threat enemy as they are rather weak with below average attack power and relatively low health, meaning that they can often be defeated by one or two well-placed attacks even on Intense difficulty. They are also highly susceptible to taking knockback and are vulnerable to grabs which makes them as weak as the Egg Pawns.
- Sonic Battle Droids - Evil Sonic Robots that exactly resemble The Mecha Sonic that is fought in the Death Egg Zone in Sonic the Hegdehog 2 as some varities of Sonic Battle Droids resemble the Silver Sonic badnik which looks like a low tech verison of a Sonic doppleganger with two extendable claw arms on its sides with rocket engines. They are considered as the elite foot soldiers of Eggman's army. They are commanded by Metal Sonic and Radar.
- Buzz Bombers - The flying enemies and dubbed Air force troopers of Eggman's army that resemble mechanical mud daubers with blue and black metal coloring and stingers at the tip of their stripy colored tail with rail detonator cannons, their primary weapon. each of these badniks has two mechanical devices resembling pale wings give it the ability to hover. Two engines are installed at the bottom of these Badniks.
- Giant Killers - evil robot sentenels that resemble SWATbots from Sonic Underground that destroy the cities of the world.
