The Slave to Fate is the protagonist and playable character in Foregone. They are created by the player in-game.
History[]
The Slave's date of birth and circumstances of their early life are determined during the character creation process. The common events in each of the available backstories is that the Slave has no siblings, their mother died, and their father mysteriously disappeared sometime before the events of the game.

For a reason depending on the chosen backstory, the Slave arrives via ship in Renardes Estos where they are contacted by the Fox Agent, Lisica.
