Serena Breakfast
Full Name Serena
Franchise Pokemon
First Appearance Pokemon X & Pokemon Y (2015)
Species Human
Sex Female
Birthplace Kalos

Serena is a Pokemon Trainer hailing from Kalos, debuting in Generation VII of Pokemon as the female protagonist. She is playable in a sense in Stampede Breakfast, though as opposed to battling herself, she uses Pokemon to attack - Charizard, Snivy, Gerdevoir, Lucario, Gengar, Meloetta, Greninja, and Litten.

Attributes[]

Serena's unique ability to use nine characters in one allows for many different positive effects. For instance, the separate characters can be used in conjunction to create a powerful effect, especially since altogether Serena has 34 special moves if the Pokemon Change Combo move and Meloetta's Relic Song down special are excluded. Since all the Pokemon have varying weights, sizes, and statistics, certain Pokemon can be switched to during opprotune moments. For example, if a Pokemon has high damage, Charizard can be switched to since it has the highest weight. Snivy, Gengar, Greninja, and Litten are all good at racking up damage, while Charizard, Gardevoir, Lucario, and Meloetta have decent KO moves. Being a "nine-in-one" character, Serena has aunique characteristic; while the eight Pokemon all share the same damage meter, they each share a different Stamina stat, where they get weaker the longer they are on the stage.

In terms of individual stats, Charizard is the heaviest and arguably strongest Pokemon in Serena's arsenal, and has strong, high-knockback attacks like Flare Blitz and Rock Smash. It is also able to Glide and use five midair jumps. Snivy is the lightest, although it is good at damage racking, and can use Razor Leaf to cover ground. Gerdevoir is a typical "glass cannon" character, possessing powerful attacks, but is quite weak itself. It is also able to reflect projectiles with Reflect. Lucario is unique in that it builds up aura as it gets damaged, making it stronger. It also has a powerful projectile with Aura Sphere, and can counter with Double Team. Gengar is lightweight, although has quick attacks, an dis overall fast in terms of mobility. Meloetta is able to switch between two formes using Relic Song - its starting Aria Forme is a "glass cannon" character similar to Gardevoir, though its Pirouette Forme is quick and powerful. Greninja is overall quick, and has quick and tricky attacks, such as Hydro Pump and Shadow Sneak to match. Lastly, Litten is light, though has among the strongest moves of Serena's Pokemon, with attacks like Incenerate dealing damage.

Overall, Serena has many traits that set herself apart from teh cast, being a "nine-in-one" character, though certain issues such as Stamina bring her down, and make her almost unviable in the competetive scene despite her large playerbase. While some Serena mains like J-Z and Dawgs have been able to claim tournament victories, she has gained close to no favorable results outside of their efforts, leading to her low tier position.

Character Description[]

Serena is the female protagonist of the Pokemon Generation VII games, more specifically Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, with her male counterpart being Calem. She hails from Kalos as well as having just moved into Vaniville Town, and can either be the playable trainer or the rival depending on which trainer the player selects. As shown in the Pokemon anime, Serena is a polite girl, but can be openly rebellious against her mother Grace. Also in the anime, she picks Fennekin to be her starter Pokemon, who would later evolve into Braixen, despite neither Pokemon apperaing in Serena's arsenal in Stampede Breakfast.

As for Serena's Pokemon, Charizard is a dual-type Fire/Flying Pokemon that is a dragonic, bipedal creature with wings, an orange and cream body, and a flame at the back of its tail. Snivy is a Grass-type Pokemon that has a green and cream body with a slender build. Gardevoir is a dual-type Psychic/Fairy Pokemon whose body resembles a flowing gown, with its body being mostly white, but with green eyes, hair, and arms. Despite its femenine appearance, both male and female Gardevoir share this form. Lucario is a dual-type Fighting/Steel Pokemon with a canine-like apperance and a blue and black body. It is able to utilize the power of aura, and normally lives far from civilization to train its powers. Gengar is a dual-type Poison/Ghost Pokemon that is small, purple, and round. Meloetta is a Legendary Pokemon who, in its Aria Forme, is a dual-type Normal/Psychic, while in its Pirouette Forme is a dual-type Normal/Fighting Pokemon. It has a feminine apperance with different-colored hair and body shape depending on the forme, and is able to switch between Formes with Relic Song. Greninja is a dual-type Water/Dark Pokemon with a frog-like apperance and moves with the speed and grace of a ninja. Finally, Litten is a Fire-type Pokemon with a feline apperance that is typically monotone and expresses little to no emotion.
