Scribblenauts is a 2D puzzle game series developed by 5th Cell. The series follows Maxwell as he solves problems to collect Starites. The player can write any word in Maxwell's magic notebook to make it appear in the level. The series started in 2009 and has run with a total of five sequels.
The very first game introduced players to the concept and had a major impact. It had no story, but the story became more apparent in future games...
The sequel to Scribblenauts. It now uses adjectives before the usual words, which add properties to the words Maxwell can use.
