Personality
Backstory
His backstory is like really long okay you have been warned.
Canonically, Scratch Kat and his brother Dawg were both genetically created by a professor whose name is unknown, strangely enough. The Professor had done some things in robotics before genetics became the huge science thing, which is why there was a whole line of Scratch Kat robots before he ever even existed.
The Professor had a brother who was jealous of his success. Even after genetics became the huge science thing, he(Brother)continued building robots. When he made a cat-shaped robot too smart on accident, it cloned itself and the new army murdered him on the very day they were created. Because they were created to be the best robots ever made, they believed that all other species were inferior, and as such must be killed. They ended up successfully destroying the planet, but not before Scratch and Dawg escaped on a rocket blimp thing, along with Lub Lub, the self-proclaimed strongest thing in existance. They floated around in space for a while, and since there was nothing to keep them from moving forwards, they ended up speedily careening towards a large red and blue planet. A planet that was slowly splitting in two...
They went wooshing through space for decades, to the point where an automated failsafe built into Scratch Kat and Dawg's genetic codes kicked in, and they basically went through a life reboot. They aged backwards to when they had been born, and lost all memories of what had happened beforehand. Those memories were replaced with a bunch of white space. White space existed within the mind and took up room, and didn't allow for any more stuff to take that space up. Therefore, if either of them recieved a big enough trigger, all that information would come pouring in and cause both of their minds to implode. All Lub Lub was able to tell them was their names, his name, that Scratch Kat and Dawg were brothers, that Lub Lub is the coolest guy in the history of cool, and that they were about to smack headfirst into the now-blue planet.
And then, the Animated Series Fantendo the Animated Series happened. The end.

Trivia
- Scratch Kat's mind reacts badly to having missing memories, and he acts rather insanely because of it.
- The memories aren't completely gone, either. It's like when you delete something on your computer, and it goes to the recycle bin. If they were completely gone, no trigger would cause them to remember. They'd be physically incapable.
- Scratch Kat's design came from a comic I had when I was younger, involving a mean stick-cat named Kat chasing after a pair of mice named Squeak and Cheese, in a very Tom & Jerry sort of way.
- Scratch's favorite game is Minecraft, because it promotes being insane.
