Samus (サムス, Samus) is a playable veteran in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. She was announced at the reveal trailer at E3 2017. Like in Smash 4, she is her own character, separated from Zero Suit Samus.
Samus hasn't had much changes rather than the universal animation and color scheme updates, and buffs and nerfs to her moveset. She is basically the same as her Smash 4 counterpart.
Changes[]
- Samus now has a more vibrant color scheme. Her suit is a mix of her suit in Metroid: Other M, and her Varia Suit.
- Samus can "crawl" by going into her morph ball form.
- Samus is a bit heavier.
- Samus is a bit faster.
- If you have a fully charged Charge Shot and uses Bomb, she will lay 5 bombs around her.
- Super Missiles now have a better chance to kill.
