SMASHBROS.AVI is a web video series created by Joe Marley, aka SuperAtomicFire, and released on his YouTube channel of the same name. The videos parodies the Super Smash Bros. video game series and contain two half episode segments. The plot is intentionally a reminiscent of 1985 revival of the 1960's cult classic, The Jetsons, while the art style typically resembles the 1983 anime series Doraemon. The first two episodes were originally released as a one-off. Second and third episode was uploaded to YouTube on December 25th, 2017, with the promise of more to come. They are written and animated by Joe Marley. The female characters are voiced by Jenny (however, in "Kirby Meets Disky" and "The Incredible Shrinking Kirby", Peach and Zelda were voiced by Jenna Hoskins). Full credits are included at the end every episode starting in "Link's New Horse". Mario's voice actor in the Mario games, Charles Martinet, called the series "really twisted and very epic" in an interview with Nintendo Radio.

Kirby Meets Disky[]
Kirby Meets Disky is a very first, pilot episode. In it, Kirby meets up with Diskun (known in this web video series as "Disky") at Zelda's secret garden. Ness becomes jealous when Disky likes Kirby very much. Ness wanted to get rid of Disky, but fails. At the end, Ness became Disky's friend.
In Disky's original design, he has no mouth and has eyes with a same color as his body, making him resemble the original Famicom Disk System mascot.
The Incredible Shrinking Kirby[]
The Incredible Shrinking Kirby is a second pilot episode. In it, Mario accidentally shrinks Kirby with a Poison mushroom hidden in the ? Block. While shrunken, Kirby needs help from Ness and Disky, who laughed at Kirby's size. The only way to make Kirby's size again, is to get a Super Mushroom.
Like the first pilot, Disky's original design was used once again.
Link's New Horse[]
Link's New Horse is the third episode that makes its official premiere on YouTube. In it, Link discovers that his horse Galaxia dies due to an old age, so he'll ask Zelda to buy him a new one at the nearby ranch.
Starting in this episode onward, Disky has white eyes and is given a mouth, making him resemble his appearance from Famimaga's Disk-kun's Manga Topics. This marks the first-ever appearance of Disky in his current design.
Not Everyone Hated King Dedede[]
Not Everyone Hated King Dedede is the fourth episode that makes its official premiere on YouTube. In it, King Dedede cries to the Mario Bros. that everyone in Nintendoville will hate him. At the end, he discovers that it is proven false.
A Horrible Place[]
A Horrible Place is the fifth episode. In it, Kirby, Ness and Disky ends up transporting them into the World of Demons via a tree hole during the picnic.
This episode marks the first appearance of the Devil from the Japan-only Devil World video game. This also reveals that Disky has the ability to transform into 8-bit versions of the character he is facing, as he is shown copying the Devil's appearance.
A Shiny Event[]
A Shiny Event is the sixth episode. In it, the Mario Bros. wanted to look for the shiny Celebi on Mystery Island so they can win a Cars 3 DVD.
Samus vs. Meta Knight[]
Samus vs. Meta Knight is the seventh episode. In it, Samus Aran enters the tournament stadium and met up with Meta Knight, who challenge her to a duel.
Joy Mech Fighters![]
Joy Mech Fighters! is the eigth episode. In it, Sukapon and his felows from Joy Mech Fight comes to Nintendoville, and Ness became jealous because of Sukapon's high power.
This episode revealed that Disky is a hermaphrodite as opposed to being a male in the official Nintendo media.
Disky's Reaction[]
Disky's Reaction is the ninth episode. In it, Disky became disgusted by what he saw on the website. Kirby and Ness summons Magolor who lives in Kirby's closet to block shock sites on Disky's computer.
Kirby Loses His Voice[]
Kirby Loses His Voice is the tenth episode. In it, Kirby's loud voice makes his throat busted, and Ness and Disky takes him to Nintendoville hospital where Mario (as Dr. Mario) removes Kirby's throat... by magic!
Kirby's Boat Trip[]
Kirby's Boat Trip is the eleventh episode. In it, Kirby, Ness and Disky were taken Shamouti Island via the cruise to meet Lugia. Later, they meet Disky's rival, Blacky (Black Disk-kun from Famimaga's Disk-kun's Manga Topics) on the same island.
MARIOBROS.MOV[]
MARIOBROS.MOV is the 12th episode. In it, Mario and Luigi wanted to make their own cartoons starring themselves. It became popular on YouTube, but deleted from it when Bowsers threatens Mario to destroy the movie because he hates the movie. At the end, Mario still has his cartoon on his computer's hard drive a whole time.
This episode's title is a reference of PONY.MOV, a web series which parodies My My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, and is also an inspiration of SMASHBROS.AVI.
Bowser, Master Hand and Taboo, OH MY![]
Bowser, Master Hand and Taboo, OH MY! is the 13th episode. In it, Bowser teams up with other Nintendo villains to threaten Nintendoville, Mario and his friends.
Super Flat Bros.!?[]
Super Flat Bros.!? is the 14th episode. In it, Mario flattens the Nintendo Stadium by mistake when he uses a giant, golden hammer given to him by Monita from Nintendo Land.
A Truth About Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon[]
A Truth About Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is the 15th episode. In it, Ness reviews about Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon.
This episode was originally an April Fools joke, but due to a request by a fan, Joe makes it a regular episode.
Luigia![]
Luigia! is the 16th episode. In it, Luigi wanted to dressed up as a green Lugia for Halloween, but he can't find it everywhere, so Mario has to make the costume for him
This episode has Disky turning into and 8-bit Dracula from Castlevania.
Bowser Destroys Everything![]
Bowser Destroys Everything! is the 17th episode. In it, Bowser finally threatens Nintendoville thanks to his Giga Bowser transformation caused by a mysterious mushroom he came across. Unfortunately, his effect wore off for the last seven minutes, only to be thwarted by Mario and his friends.
Have a Famicom Piracy, Disky![]
Have a Famicom Piracy, Disky! is the 18th episode. In it, Blacky reveals that he is the anthropomorphized version of the Disk Hacker software disk made by Hacker International. Because of this, Disky tries to find a way to defeat and send him to jail. It gets better when Kirby and Ness helps Disky.
This episode also reveals that Disky is the anthropomorphized version of the Famicom Disk System disk.
My Papa Puts Glass in My Ears![]
My Papa Puts Glass in My Ears! is the 19th episode. In it, Bowser Jr. tells everyone that his father Bowser puts glass in his ears as a punishment. Turns out to be a lie when Bowser says that he really didn't.
A Nintendo Christmas Carol[]
A Nintendo Christmas Carol is the 20th episode, which is a spoof of Charles Dickens tale A Christmas Carol. In it, Scrooge Wario wanted to get himself some Christmas presents for Samus and later meets some ghosts (actually Mario, Link and Kirby) of Christmases past, present and future.
