Rainbow Six: Call of Duty - Mercs is the spin - off released after the original game. It also received M for Mature by ERSB and 18 by PEGI. The game tells another story, about Rainbow, Ghosts, TF141 and several PMCs - most importantly, PMC called " BLACK ", sort of freelance CTU, running black ops all over the globe, Martinez Security, a private police force with " adult toys ", and the infamous Atlas. Along with classic game modes, we have new one - Mercenary, or World Map. The game was praised by fans for its realistic depiction of spec ops and mercs.
Plot[]
The game begins in 2017, Los Angeles. Five people - Adrian Degtyarov, Dima Egorov, Nikita Sergeev, Roman Frolov and Anthony Pereyaslov, or Legate, Centurion, Samurai, Ronin and Saint respectivly - the owners of the undergound base in the forest near LA, had just recently killed Avon Hertz. They celebrate, but then Legate`s phone rings and he answers. On the other end is Agent 14, who asks the team to fly over to Balkans in order to investigate the strange activity there. They agree, and fourteen hours later they deploy from the stealth helicopter and make their way towards their objective. Turns out, that activity was actually Martinez Security mercenaries, who ship the weapons in and out of the country. TBA
Characters[]
Adrian " Legate " Degtyarov - A Russian spec ops soldier. Born in 1993, as all of the " Rainbow`s first batch ", he grew up in Moscow, but knew first - hand how cruel the world can be. In 2012, he was accepted in Ghosts and received callsigh " Legate " for his bravery and leadership skills, and three years later in Rainbow along with his fellow Ghosts. In - between 2012 and 2017, he was sent along with his friends to " BLACK " as a specialist on a loan. Adrian is tall, 1.85 cm young man, muscular build, and has jet - black hair slicked back in order to look like made - man, and emerald - green eyes, which are the last thing his enemies see.
Dmitriy " Centurion " Egorov - As a young boy, Dima was growing up in St. Petersburg without his father, just like Adrian. His father showed up once or twice in a year because of his job. His mother was threatened by Mafiya and Faustin Arms personnel, so he volunteered to become a GRU sniper. He was accepted to Ghosts in 2012, and, in 2015, in Rainbow, where he met Adrian, Nikita, Roman and Anthony. He received codename " Centurion " for his sharpness and fearlessness in the face of death. As well as other guys from the " Threat " squad, he was sent to " BLACK " as a specialist on a loan. Dmitriy is tall, but slightly taller than Adrian, and has the same muscular build. He has dark - chestnut hair and grey eyes.
Nikita " Samurai " Sergeev - Nikita was born in Sevastopol.
Roman " Ronin " Frolov - Roman, or Roma, was born in Rostov - on - Don.
Anthony " Saint " Pereyaslov - Tolya, Anatoliy, or Anthony, was born in Moscow and is Adrian`s oldest friend.
