The Rain Cloud
The Rain Cloud is an item that appears in Mario Kart Arcade GP and its sequels. It is one of several Prize Items and can be unlocked by finishing first place at Mario Highway in Grand Prix mode at least once.
When used, the Rain Cloud locks itself onto another racer and unleashes a massive rainstorm, which reduces the kart's speed and traction.
The Rain Cloud has two heavier variants: the Thunder Cloud, which slows opponents down even more by showering lightning, and the Snow Cloud, which reduces more traction by freezing the tires.
