The Purple Shell is a purple Koopa Shell that is worn by purple Koopa Troopas, which teleport to the player in order to walk into them. When they are defeated, they leave their shell or hide it in. When the player launches it, it teleports to nearby enemies and bowls them over.

The Purple Shell Is Palutena's Special Item in Mario Kart: Interstate 94, It can be obtained from 1st to 3rd place, When used, It will act like a Red Shell except it spawns some Wheels, and including they fly with a Glider, and then When it hits the target, Its wheels and the glider will separate from the shell.
