Puddle Reviews

Puddle Reviews is an article review service operated by Puddle (tbc). On December 16th 2018, Puddle Reviews was announced and created with the intention of being a reliable, long-lasting review service for new and old users alike to receive feedback, compliments and criticism on their articles.

Description

Puddle Reviews ranks articles based on two different subjects, which are essentially content & presentation. While I may not appreciate the idea of an article, it will still get a high rating if the presentation is good, and if I really like an idea and the presentation is sub-par, it may still receive a good rating.

Ratings are based on four different coloured stars, which are (from best to worst):

BRONZE
PuddleStarBronze
While not necessarily bad, this article needs substantial work to be a high rank. Maybe there's not much detail, poorly formatted or something else is wrong.
SILVER
PuddleStarSilver
A mostly satisfactory/good article that's just a bit rough around the edges. It would need a little more work to be a higher rank, perhaps more detail, or more unique formatting.
GOLD
PuddleStarGold
A high-quality, well-organised, creative article. A Gold Article might not be perfect in every way, but the bulk of it is well-written and interesting to read with a good use of templates and other unique elements.
PLATINUM
PuddleStarPlatinum
Premium, near-perfect articles that I'd consider to be the best of the best, These articles have an aesthetically-pleasing and organised layout, with a good distribution of tables, images and other templates.

Requirements

In order to submit an article to be reviewed, users must ensure that their page meets all of the following criteria.

  • The article must be longer than 1000 bytes (you can check your article's size in the history tab). If you submit a short, stubby article, I won't review it as it's just a waste of my time.
  • Articles can be about almost anything, such as characters, games, items, franchises, universes, stories, etc. Bare in mind that story-driven articles will take considerably longer to review than gameplay and character-focused ones. Obviously, I won't review things such as user pages, talk pages, and similar stuff like that.
  • Articles don't have to be finished, but they should certainly be in a state where there's one or two paragraphs of information in each of the main sections, especially if it's a game.
  • You can't submit an article until one week has passed since your last article was reviewed.
    • If you want me to re-review the same article I've already reviewed, you must wait one month.
  • You can only leave one article at a time to be reviewed.

This is a list of all of the projects I've reviewed so far, ranked by star rating.

Waiting List

These are the projects I still have to review, in order of what I'll do next. I'll try to do at least one a day, minimum.

So, what are you waiting for? Add your article in the comments and I'll sure enough get around to reviewing it soon!
